Your photography is always stunning! The race on the other hand was a wild ride! McLaren needs get their pit strategy together. They screwed Piastri by pitting Norris then screwed Lando when his car was obviously the faster of the two. The radio talk was painful to listen to and, in my option, kinda unprofessional. On one hand I’m glad for Piastri but feel bad for Norris as well. As for Max, he whines too much when things don’t go his way. Perez went over to the dark side with RB and it’s sucking his soul.

Thank you. I’m trying to decide if McLaren might have played a blinder despite it looking messy. Team orders always blow up, regardless of how they are done. Maybe the fall out from this one isn’t as destructive as others.

What an exciting, fast paced job you have! Surrounded by beautiful, rich people and very fast cars. I bet you're never bored! But kinda dangerous, so be careful.

Bittersweet win for Oscar! I have mixed emotions, as an Aussie I’m happy for Oscar but also sorry for Lando as I’m not a fan of team orders! I hope it doesn’t end up dividing the team. Hopefully McLaren get their pit strategy sorted for SPA as the last two races have been a disaster! Always enjoy your photos Michael and your race summary. 😀🇦🇺

I think the sad thing about this race is it’s turned a united team and fan base against each other. I really loved how this team fought for each other. Pit wall was very clear at the time of pitting that this was NOT an undercut on Oscar and they were protecting Lando’s second place. I was so happy that they all have so much trust and respect for each member of that team that they had the option to do this! I mean what a trick to have up your sleeve in an important closer race! Lando stuffed it. He not only ruined the trust that the team had in him, but he made himself look like a brat and he selfishly took the shine off Oscars first win. It wasn’t nonchalance, he is a shy and calm person who with the entire F1 community watching, just had his race win marred by his team mate. He apologised!! He should never have been made to feel like he didn’t earn that win!

You may remember LH saying, when asked to let Bottas by"if he can catch me I'll let him pass" I thought radio messages were better than the race. Always great pic's, I like the one on the straight with the big yellow Pirelli board. How the heat wave reflects.

I remember that. The mirage was incredible. I was lucky that the cars were not very distorted. It was very hot.

Another great video Michael. I was not a fan of the outcome of the race. I have never liked team orders. And I feel that Lando should have won the race. Maclaren's strategy didn't work the way they had wanted it to. That's racing. David Coulthard said in commentary that he wished he hadn't followed team orders and let Mika pass. Once you do that they will expect you to do it again. The pressure they poured on Lando when he's trying to concentrate on his job, to race cars was awful. 🙂🇨🇦

I think it’s a bit different in this case. Usually team orders are given to give one driver a better chance in the championship. It doesn’t happen often to correct a team decision. When David did it, it made him a number 2 driver, I don’t think that is the case here.

OK Michael ... you are right ... that was a brilliant review of the Lando/Oscar fiasco. It was very uncomfortable to witness though. Loved the picture of Perez with his very own dark cloud ... one gets the feeling that that cloud is following him everywhere. Lots of shots of you on the Channel 4 Highlights prog.

I'm still confused. Was "Do the right thing" meant to give team morale boost to Oscar? Isn't that a deviation from usual practice of rank preference for the lead driver? Great photos - luv those sparks!

He is not old enough to drink in Hungary - he is only 17 years old. He turns 18 next month, lets see if the celebrations change!
