Great video! I bought mine in a thrift store $4. like new! I wanted a smaller chopped as I have a larger, heavier 9 cup that's for other recipes. Anyway, demonstration videos are very helpful and inspirational. Thanks! I see this is 8 years ago...hope all is well with you still!

H Misty! Great to hear from you. These days I use a regular blender and make four fruit smoothies, enough for 2 or three days. Thanks for watching! Jim

I think this is the best mini food chopper, I have different brands, this is the best. Especially if you fill it up almost up to the rim. It rotates the nuts from top to bottom and vice versa better when full. { Sorry. This is my experience with nuts only , Not so sure about vegetables. } Almond is the hardest nut, it powders it. I guess better not to keep it running for extended time , I have had other brands which burnt the motor. Not this brand. But better be cautious. Better run it 20 seconds and wait to cool down and then again until almond becomes powdery. Btw you see at 8:15 it is not rotating items no more, if it was filled up to the rim , it keeps rotating items for ever, { Sorry. This is my experience with nuts only , Not so sure about vegetables. } this happens to all brands, of course if you want to powder something or else

Hi, thanks for the vid. I just bought one of these this evening. For the life of me I could not get the safety tab to lock into the slot on the body of the processor to get it to function. I read the directions several times, but the darn thing wouldn't budge. So I went to see if any one else was having this issue. Your vid helped e to realize that I had to turn the bowl with the lid on it just that much more. I was afraid to break it before, but it did move clockwise just a bit more to get the dots lined up and let the buttons work. I can't wait to make home made mayonnaise in it! Mine was supposed to come with the small spatula, but it didn't. It's OK, I have other small spatulas that will fit in there just fine. I also want to try out the whisk attachment to make small amounts of whipped cream. I got mine for only 10 dollars at Walmart.

The container of my chopper of this model was difficult to rotate. This tube helped me understand that I would not break it upon rotating counterclockwise. Works just fine but the plastic may have a short design life.

Yep. It's great. But the cup is kinda small. It only chops fine, does not really liquefy. I bought a Ninja blender about 6 months ago, it beautiful, easy to clean, just rinse it off. It's kinda big though. I caught it on Amazon Deal of the Day about $80.00.

My boyfriend got ones of these as a birthday gift from him mom. But I think it was mainly for me because I asked her about where to get one because I make chickpea salad (tuna salad but a vegan alternative) which is why I wanted one. And I found your video because I couldn’t figure out how to take the bowl off of the chopper to clean it out. The directions weren’t very clear about that part. Unless I just missed it.

Perchance, why did you cut up the stem of the apple? I picked up a Solid State Faberware Food Processor for $5.00 at the Goodwill (with an additional working bowl, steel chopping blade, bread blade, French fry cutter, slicing blade and shredder), which works beautifully. That apple would have been processed much more speedily without pre-dicing, and definitely without shaking the container. (LOL)

Hi Kelly! I just chopped up the apple quickly for the video. I don't eat the seeds or stem. I always peel and core the apple before I eat them. I like this chopper because I was having problems with the dentures, and this makes the food easier to eat, without fully liquidizing. These days I usually dice up and apple, and maybe steam it in oatmeal. That's a great catch at Goodwill, very cool. I stop in there like once a week myself, I've picked up a lot of workout equipment there! Thanks for watching! Jim

Make sure the plastic tab on the cup top edge snaps under the back case slot. It won't start if the tab is not in the slot all the way. you'll here it snap in place. it's hard to push in there.
