"Make them--ask them." The way Regina corrects herself like that, it really shows how far she's come at this point. And I refuse to believe she rephrased just to protect Henry. It's just... wow.

I think Regina has been going about her happy ending the wrong way, Snow White has hers with Prince Charming, Emma with Hook, Rumple with Belle so naturally everyone ( the audience and Regina) are to assume Happy Ending =Finding True Love in the Romantic sense. But if you think about it Henry is Regina's happy ending, Henry truly loves her not in a romantic sense but as a son loves a mother. He inspires her to be a better person and if she falls back into darkness he is there to bring her out of it and never gives up on her If you think about it without Henry Regina never would have redeemed herself or even wanted to be good. In the same sense Belle makes Rumple a better person and Emma makes Hook a better person. Again ironically Regina wants her happy ending when in this very scene and ever since she adopted him as a baby he was sitting beside her all along

Also, she's yet to come to terms with the fact that she's not _entitled_ to a 'happy ending' as such, and she's got a long way to go before she's even close to coming to terms with who she used to be (and that person isn't that far below the surface, as we see with her plot to murder Marion).

I feel like its here where the show dipped in quality. In prior seasons, it always felt that the worlds, the stories we see were just another universe where they were truly real and had their own paths. As soon as the Author came into play here, heck as soon as Elsa became an aspect, I just felt thats where the show lost some mystery, it made the characters feel not real, they they couldn't lead their own paths. If they were to go about the Author, then what they should have done is make the Author someone who documents the stories, not writes them, that the author of the books doesn't control how the story is told, just observes them

0:34 Inside Henry's head, a little voice just started saying, "Alert! Alert! Alert!" 0:48 Emma's influence, Henry goes straight to the point. "What are you up to?" in a suspicious tone. Unfortunately, when she explained her latest demented scheme, for some reason it made sense to him. Of course this is season four, when everybody's IQ took a hit for a while...

I've read your comments, and can you please stop with all this Regina-bashing? And also, she _was_ written as a villain by Issac, and _was_ made into one by Rumple. He turned Regina into a villain so that he could get her to cast the curse. It wasn't her fault, and she's trying her best to redeem herself.
@shermanlee4037

Aryan Awasthi - I'm not bashing her. The canon Regina was a _villain_ , by her own free will. The Apprentice later explains to Henry that the job of the Author is to record. Regina _chose_ to do the things she did. Yes, Rumple manipulated her, he shares the blame, but Regina _chose_ to go along with his manipulations. She craved the power he tempted her with, and went along with his manipulations.

Aryan Awasthi - Also, it undercuts Regina's character as a character if she's just a puppet on a string. I actually like the character, but Regina is not a brave feminist heroine struggling to overcome great odds or Emma's romantic love or anything else the fanfics try to recast her as. She's the _heavy_ . She's a murderess, a rapist, a torturer, a regicide, she fed children to the blind witch and stole Snow's kingdom. She later repents and tries to change her ways, and that is her defining struggle and the thing that makes her fascinating.

@@shermanlee4037 why are u so jealous of Regina but when it gets to snow and Charming there supposed to be heroes. In every video you say something about Regina not deserving a happy ending about Regina killing. We get it Regina did hundreds of horrible things but that doesn’t define her. Because I seem to recall that snow and charming stole maleficints child when she begged them not too. And that was as horrible as casting the Dark Curse. And don’t say the author made because if the author made them do that then the author made Regina become the evil queen. If snow and charming deserve forgiveness and a happy ending. Then so does Regina.

1:02 You were _written_ as a villain, your Majesty, because you _were_ a villain. Slaughtering villages, tearing the hearts out of grooms in front of brides just because, murdering your own father, trying to murder Snow White for years on end, raping Graham, curses, torture, murder, probably check fraud for all we know. The book didn't make you do that stuff, it just reported accurately.
