Wow you have a fabulous time. I use to live up there. My roommates use to bring home the biggest halibut you have ever seen for our freezer. They were basically roasts .Thank you so much for coming by our channel. It was so kind of you.

We are going full time within a year I hope. There’s a ton to do before we can. So maybe in 2 yrs we will go to Alaska. We will travel slow but I have always wondered why more people haven’t videoed fishing. That’s my favorite thing to do when we go to the beach.

What's the limit? And is halibut from the grocery cheaper there than mainland?
@JonesN2Travel
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Cliff. The limit was 2 per person and I think they had to be over 16" if I remember correctly. I didn't price it in the store but like everything else its probably more expensive in Alaska LOL Thanks for checking out the video. Safe Travels

It turned out to be a very beautiful day and so much fun. I was just thrilled that Tina loved it. More deep sea fishing may be on the radar now LOL. One of the other guys on the boat caught one about twice or so the size of ours, probably about a 60 pounder I'm guessing. Between Tina and I my first one was the biggest but as you saw in the video just by a couple inches :)
