Love this! I schedule out our days too and it makes all the difference in the world to be intentional with our time. I am also not a slave to the schedule, but it is definitely my guide! We start at 9am.

Thanks for sharing this! I just purchased morning manna and am very excited! I would love to see a flip through of your binder that you keep for records and logs. If you have one. This will be our first year homeschooling. It was a very sudden decision but I have felt like god has put it on my heart to do so for a while now. But it’s definitely overwhelming getting everything prepared in such a short time frame. But I am so grateful for all the homeschool mother’s on KZitem. All have been so helpful.

THANK YOU so much for providing the Canva template for your homeschool schedule. 💖 I’ll be homeschooling 7th, 4th, and kindergarten this year along with a 2 year old and 5 month old. 😅 I’ve been wrestling for a few months now wondering how I was going to be able to spread my time out and the visual color coding just helped me SO MUCH to figure that out. 🫶🏻 I am in love with the “sibling time” and I think it’ll work so much better than letting my 2 year old run wild all day while we try to get our studies done! ✅

We start school around 9:00. I have a 5th grade daughter, a 3yo and 1yo. It’s tricky that there are no other siblings to entertain the 3yo during school time, but hopefully as he gets a little older he can help entertain his little sister. They get along really well luckily.❤

Thank you again for sharing this great schedule!!! I am definitely going to try this as I love the idea and concept! This will be my 4th year homeschooling and I have always been pulled in different directions (normally I feel like I'm always doing circles 😂). I love how you incorporate your older kids to entertain the little one and to do what he wants to do as it's not about the older kiddos during that time. Brilliant!!! 👏 I need more organization and a plan (as I always wing it and it doesn't work 😢 and have been trying to figure out a way to make it enjoyable for all of us). I think I found it thanks to you ❤. I am so excited to create our schedule and to use your guide as a template! My boys are 8, 6 and 18 months. I think I just found the best schedule ever!!! Thank you 🤗🥳. I haven't seen anything like this on M2H but maybe I missed it 🤷.

They just have to stay in their room and be quiet. Sometimes they’re reading. Sometimes they’re playing with legos or toys

What age would you start World watch news? I have one that scares easily.
@AnnaBruceblog
2 ай бұрын
I have never seen anything scary on it. My 3 and 5 yr olds watch it but don’t pay much attention. I would say I think maybe 6 or 7 and up would be interested in it though. It all depends on your child though. You know them best
So I have one of those children that loves to sleep in. It is not unusual for my kindergartner to sleep until 11am if I don't get her up. Her bedtime is 7. But she has always tried to stay up and play even though all we have on is a night light. If I do try and wake her at earlier times I sometimes get a very groggy, grumpy child that is problematic when we try to do homeschool. You said you had one child that sleeps in, what works for you in getting that child up earlier to start their day? Just curious. Oh and could you share the KZitem channel you do for ballet, that sounds like a wonderful idea. Thank you.

I have to laugh because we literally just say “you have to get up now or you’re in trouble.” And since we have firm boundaries in place my kids know I mean what I say. But also I give lots of grace so if I know he’s had a rough night or a busy couple of days I’m fine letting him sleep in a little.

Another great video! I’ve watched your other video on meal planning dinners. I’m curious how do you meal plan for breakfast & lunch? What types of breakfast do your kiddos prep on their own?
