Very nice video and collection. I didn't know the differences between vices until you just taught me. I remember that 40 years ago Record made very nice wood planes. The Parker vice was made in Meriden, Connecticut(CT). I live an hour from there. Kentucky is KY. Parker was considered very high quality and are quite valuable now days. A couple of my vices are Columbia. Good Luck, Rick

Whenever I see a vice at a garage sale I want to have it, even though I have all the vices I currently need; perhaps I'm a vice collector at heart too. I can see a winter's worth (or two) of buffing and painting if you were to restore them all. Sometimes a collector will want to get things that are untouched but I'd not worry about the value going down by restoring any of these. I can envision them all brightly painted and glistening with new oil on the moving parts. What you'll also want to keep an eye out for are blacksmith anvils. Those can fetch a tidy sum if in original and good condition. A brand that is much sought after are PETER WRIGHT anvils. Look for them at your next outing to an estate sale or the like and bring one home! Great collection!

Hi Joseph. Nice collection of vices. I used to have a couple of vices but I quit them🤣 But seriously I do have about 5 vices but my favorite is my wilton. I had one from the 30s , I can't remember the maker but I loved that vice. I put to much pressure on it and it broke in half. I bought one from harbor freight once but I hated it so I gave it to my son for his garage
