“Jesus was not triggered.” What a word right there man! I’ve been actually receiving that exact same message from so many different sources for the passed couple of weeks. Jesus was not triggered! If we were to think of that, all the sooo many ways the devil tried to get to him as a human in this sinful world, and He was still not triggered 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 What an example to follow!! I was reading this awesome book the other day. It’s called “the desire of ages”, basically the best biography of Jesus ever out there, besides the Bible obviously. And reading on the moment of Jesus being tempted in the wilderness, it was saying how Jesus, by Satan’s words showing his true character, knew who it was that was tempting Him and what he was trying to do to Him, but He was not triggered, instead He rested in His Father’s love. Uuuphhh!!! He rested in His Father’s love, in His Father’s word, on who He said He is “my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.” And by resting in the Father’s love and Word, He was no triggered. Man!! What a testimony and example on how to approach life 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥🔥

A wonderful testimony. My fiancé and I are getting married in November. This relationship has shown me that I have suppressed a lot of emotions and didn’t realize how triggering things could be even in a God given relationship. I didn’t expect to struggle with the things I have because I have God and I’ve been forgiven but I have found out I have created walls that need to be taken down. God has been working that out of me but I know once my fiancé and I are married and living together things will come up we will have to work through. Thank you for sharing ❤️

Realize that its because we both have not been living in our god-given roles. also YES to the spouse triggering pain thats already been there. this is something we glady learned early on. also really love that podcast you mentioned, already listen to them! only halfway thru this video but just thanks so much!

Dear Kian and Kyle, praise the Lord for this incredibly helpful video, I feel like this was your best video so far, not because of the video itself but because of the breakthroughs you experienced and shared in it. I have a question for you both. I am in a long distance relationship, and we already know as a fact that we are going to get married, we are both Christians, and this will be our 2nd and last >D marriage for us both. Because of that certainty we have about each other (that should be familiar to you guys lol) our relationship is very marriage-like but obviously we are still in the so called dating phase, although our engagement is going to happen soon. It is hard to be in this waiting season, it feels like we are already married but we are far and obviously before God we are not one yet, but it feels like it. It sometimes creates situations where we both are claiming things that still don't correspond (not physical connection though) but it is more coming from me craving that male leadership a husband would do, and me learning to submit which is quite difficult for me. What do you guys recommend for this waiting period where you know you gonna get married, what are some of the things we could do to strengthen our relationship without us claiming roles that maybe don't correspond to us yet? Why do I feel this deep bondage if we haven't been united into one flesh yet? I hope I explained it well, English is not my native language >) I am from Hungary and currently living in Peru. God bless you guys and thank you for everything you share and do, pls if you can make a video in this subject someday that would be amazing. Love you guys! Darla

I thank God for the both of you. Your walk in the Lord is so exciting. I'm unmarried but I understand you so well. One thing I've understood - married or single, we need to get what you said. Since we're the bride of Christ, our relationship with Him is no different. Sometimes when my expectations from Him are not met, I go through exactly what you (Kyle) went through. Another thing i feel strongly about us God taking you through those hard times (pressing and crushing) so our eyes are opened and we can see clearly what He's teaching us. I'm not sure if you've read this one but please please read Walk in Spirit Walk in Power by Dave Robinson. Also highly recommend you watch Pastor Vlad's videos. Stay blessed... Wonderful breakthrough! Marriage is such a blessing but you two are clearly dealing with brokenness from past decisions. I would hope that you could devote more videos to teaching how painful our mistakes can make our lives. God will forgive and redeem us but we will still have to battle the emotions and the pain of our mistakes and the pain we cause for others. Who wouldn't want an opportunity to warn our younger selves with that knowledge and prevent their future pain? You two have an opportunity to do this with the young people in your audience. Showing how God is healing you is great but convicting someone of their sins is life changing. I pray that you do.

Hey Kian, I definitely struggle with controlling my husband and certain situations and that need for control is very much biblical and comes from when God is placing Man and Womans consequence for them sinning. God says to Eve, "Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." A lot of people believe this scripture to mean desire in a sexual way but in Hebrew translated it means to have, to control him but God made it clear that we wouldn't succeed and that our husband would rule over us. So, our eternal problem God has put on us is our desire to control our husband. Its a hard desire to deal with and I have to remind myself constantly that I am my husband's partner, his servant and that he was ordained by God to rule over me and to be the head of the household. Just pray continually to God that he humbles you and uses you to lift your husband up and to encourage him and to support him in every major decision even if you know its going to go wary because men will be men, haha. God bless ya'll. God is working in your marriage in beautiful ways!

I appreciate your transparency in this video. Not only because I think it will help people better their own relationships, but also because it shows that even when God hand-selects a mate for you - like He did with you guys, and you still encounter challenges in those divine marriages. Why? For the simple fact that we are all flawed humans. Every marriage will encounter challenges. Even marriages where God has selected a spouse for us. And that's okay. Because He uses those challenges to heal us and release us from past burdens and pains we may not even realize we're still holding onto. PS - I can hear Handsome crying in the background, lol, poor guy.

This video was such perfect timing. My fiancé and I are getting married in 1.5 months and in a really rough spot of tension that sounds really similar to your situation. I would love for y’all to expand on your view of egalitarian vs complimentary view of marriage. I know it’s a contentious thing and people find biblical support for both.
