A traverse of the Drakensberg mountain range in South Africa from the Sentinel car park in the north to the Bushman's Neck border post in the south. Approximately 230 km at an average altitude of 3000 m passing over 6 of the most iconic peaks in the range. A completely self-supported journey through a true wilderness area.
We had 5 days available and just managed to complete the full traverse in this time. One of the hardest and most spectacular things we have ever done. We'll definitely be back to do it again some time in the future.
