It seems that the reason the bus driver got angry at the end of the video was to warn him because he was carrying coffee. In Korea, you cannot bring food or drinks with you when riding a bus or subway.

In Korea, when riding a bus, the front door is used only for boarding and the back door is used only for getting off. Whether Korean or foreigner, if you board the bus through the back door, the bus driver will yell or get angry. This is because the back door is only used for getting off, so if you try to get on through the back door, you may collide with someone getting off and get hurt, so you must only board through the front door and get off through the back door.

Buses are typically boarded and tagged through the front door. When transferring, use the tag on the back door and get off. That's why the bus driver probably hated it. This may be because you need to check the normal tag.

Thank you!!! We really do have great memories! However, when we come next time we would want to approach things a bit differently: South Korea is way different from any other countries so we are thinking of following the tours led by locals to really understand the culture 🙏

That’s what we did too 👍 It’s visible though that the Gwangjang market is struggling with customers because of it…
