Loved this video, you and Champ done so well and he stood like a rock for Lewis, I agree about it being hard against ridden in championships, I won a class at 9am had to wait for 9 more classes for the inhand championship, that we won, then had to wait all afternoon for the supreme and like with Lewis the ridden pony ch and ridden horse ch took it, a bit deflating when you've been standing around all day, but can't complain 😂, congratulations to you both and Champ of course, living up to his name xx

Thank you, yes Lewis is really starting to understand how to show Champ off in the ring now, Oh no what a bummer for you, luckily we didnt have to wait to long for the supreme but it is disheartning when ridden horses take it all, haha yes Champ is finally living up to his name haha xx

Yes we do, I’m working on it, he’s nervous to ride in front of people (he’s fine being filmed, As technically it’s only me there with him) He’s doesn’t want to canter as a group yet, but we have decided on him doing a novice ridden (walk/trot only) before the show season is over, He is a good rider and was teaching gambler extended trot the other day 😃

He is beautiful; love a buckskin! Well done for going out and facing your fears; you did so well and you definitely CAN jump! You could see he got more confident as the round went on, a few more outings and he'll be flying round. That warm up was horrendous, I don't know you managed to get another done in there 🤦🏼♀️ well done! Xx

Great effort and as you say you completed it without getting him flustered. He's green but he's careful.. Get your big girl pants on gal. You jump fine. You'll love it once you do a few more. 🤗👏👏

I’m sure you know this, but switching leads is a sign of saddle fit issues. And it does look clearly like he’s sore in his lumbar.
@KarenBadrick1
Жыл бұрын
Yes you are correct, If you look through some of my videos, it explains his journey. I brought him a made to measure saddle back just before Covid which within weeks caused back issues, he has seen vet, physio and saddle fitter regularly and we are now coming out the other end, only recently have we managed to find a saddle to fit him properly, He is a fiery welsh, who is weak on the right rein so as soon as he feels unbalanced he changes the legs, but he’s definitely getting better, But this is why he’s still such a novice horse even at 7yr old
