Totally agree with your security of the van when leaving it anywhere . Even caravan parks require diligent locking and making sure valuables like keys , computers etc are well hidden out of sight .

Great video guys I really enjoy seeing the way you do things with the kids while travelling. We make our kids stay in the car while we position the van as well.

The grass is quaking grass. It quivers in the breeze sometimes when they have dried out. It's a non native, it's pretty widespread around Victoria.

What type of Geolanders have you got and do you still rate them? I’m especially curious how they are in the wet. Thanks for any info.

Ref the drone footage. If you are standing and takeoff just outside a National Park you can still fly over and record over the national park as the AIRSPACE is controlled by CASA and not national parks. :-) the takeoff point will be on you flight logs if someone questions you.

Yes we know that however often don’t risk it as we are on show so often and *if* one day they have a crack down, we would really like not to be used as an example to others 😅 once it’s on the internet it’s always there 😁

Fantastic video as usual, love the tip's, nothing worse than someone wrecking your camping by just being opportunistic. Love the disco lights, would make an awesome time-lapse at camp. Fairly sure the plant at the start was a pussy cat tail, before it fluffs up

Hi Guys enjoyed your posts so much i signed up for the subscription and as i have just brought a 2019 Y62 (and i tow a 3.5T van) some questions.. Do you use a weight distribution system and cant see you use the Clearview towing mirrors, is it that you find it is not necessary Also i`am in Perth and are having trouble finding someone to do the 180KG GVM upgrade so is it possible to do air bags and better/heavy duty springs (wont have a plate but towing should improve) Look forward to watching your posts about WA over the next few days

Hey Robert, I realise I just answered your last comment. :) thanks for signing up we appreciate it 😊 with regards to the GVM up grade, personally we don’t know anyone in WA who does it. Ours was done in QLD. 😊

@@BigOzExplorers think I ate it in 3 seconds flat ! well the 2nd time round I got it right coz the first time I went to use it I was setup on the beach table out bbq on all the food out gas bottle out n went to plug it in perfect !🌊🌅🛻 nope . the gas bottle fitting I have for a 2kg is too small ! didn't fit . . lucky I had a backup burner lol . found a gas fitting place that was open after many dollar stores and got the small to big adapter.. . I'm going to be using it again for Australia day 🇦🇺 so we'll see what else I can cook on it 🤙😎📹🛻 oh yeah gas bottle was from anaconda too! n the guy said it would fit any bbq the blue ones n I never checked thinking of ccourse it would fit a normal bbq hose being a gas bottle ! surely !
