Thanks for a great show. Lot of things to think about.

Good stuff. I agree with both of yinz that we're feeling the ripple effect from the pandemic. Emotionally, I don't think we've addressed it yet.

Feels like people are still using it as something to hide behind, even three years later at this point.

@@dragonicmicrophone6594 Well, some may see that it's actually not truly over yet, no matter how "back to normal" people insist we may be. To each their own view: all's I know is, I want people around this time next year. I'm STILL losing those I care about...

Thanks for the insightful answer on the question, guys! I have a bit of a theory regarding the topic of being inspired by other people, and I think it's saturation. Take a scroll through social media and you'll probably find at least three videos on inspiration. On KZitem there are entire channels dedicated to inspiring others. It's constant and in your face, and people don't get enough time to process it before another video comes along and tries to inspire them too. And the worst part of it is that some of the videos are faked. Dramatizing is fine, but when I say faked, I mean that they planned out a situation just to get some clout or scam people out of their money. So it goes from "Wow, that was a great story!" to "Alright, is this real? If it is, cool. If it isn't, how dare you." To top that off, when you have people like the one being talked about (figured I'd keep them nameless since you guys did,) who is/was an inspiration to people and a hero to some act in that way, it's just heartbreaking.

That's accurate, IMO. And yeah, the "inspiration racket" is its own bubble on the socials. It's its own niche...
