I find it so hard to believe how just the four of you, and sometimes five, can manage this farm. I only till a couple acres and can't keep up. Truely amazing

Logan, I’m a commercial fisherman out the finest commercial port in NJ. Having to deal with the crappiest year round weather, may I suggest you taking a look at Grundens and Helly Hansen rain/fishing wear. Extremely effective and durable. Stuff works great. That soil that was being plowed, gorgeous. Keep up the great work. Love the vids.👍

It’s sad to see the frost come, because I know it will end a lot of your harvest. I cannot believe it’s the end of October already. It was a beautiful year. I hope you had great success, because watching every video all your vegetables were producing and looking amazing.

I've been watching all the farming videos , small scale and large scale.... it's not the attractive profession that the younger generation gravitate to, but man oh man you gotta have a deeper sense of appreciation for the hard, sometimes back aching, and not afraid to get my hands dirty, work you guys do. The task of nurturing a seed to fruition and then reaping the rewards after, facing the elements and expecting a good harvest.... Man I tip my hat to you guys!!!! ❤

Hey Logan it's amazing the different climates we have. Rochelle and I will be harvesting for another 4 to 6 weeks. The aerial veiw is fun, what an amazing farm. Are you getting customers that want potatoes not washed for long term storage? We can't grow enough so we buy two bags from a local farm, red and white and keep several months in our mud room. God bless yawl.

I loved the drone shots of your daddy plowing. Y'all have some great looking soil and it shows in the produce y'all grow. Those cabbage y'all cut were gorgeous. Were they flat Dutch? You and Frank picking peppers in the rain reminded me of priming tobacco in the rain years ago> Miserable but necessary work.

Hi Logan! Looked into your shirts for sale, but XL was the largest size. I reached the limit of 2XL. Lol Maybe next year you’ll have a few larger sizes for us big boys! Enjoy your vlogs….. I wish I could eat one of your cantaloupes. Out west in Washington state they are always picked green and very little flavor! If I were local I would buy from your farm stand!

Logan, we.have a large produce farm close to us. Yearly they have a PRE FROST PICK DAY for.regular.customers. $25 bucks. They have a list of cell numbers that interested customers provide their numbers. If a high percentage chance of frost is forecasted they send out a group text message to all the interested customers the morning before the anticipated frost and that day the customers clean the fields. All on the honor and respect.system. We leave our $25 in a drop box in the field. We have been doing it for years and it is awesome. Of course we all buy from them when they are selling at their market. Many time folks leave more than $25. It is like a pre holiday tradition around here and a.great community bonder.

I was thinking about your potato harvest I was wondering if maybe it would be more cost-efficient to either hire a company to come in and dig and box them or just buy a machine that does both. Having to pick each one up by hand it is a ton of labor. Maybe something to think about. Thanks for the video.

@BroyansFarm

Flat is more “flatter” where the cabbage leaves will be bigger for certain cooking purposes. As your regular cabbage is a smaller head & used for something known as haluski for example.

Why don't you do what market farms around here do at the end of season. They put the word out to the community that they can come and pay $10 and pick all they want to. It allows you to make a good name for yourself in the community and it will draw people to your market to also buy your other products. It always upsets me to see produce left in fields to rot when it could go to people who may not have lots of money to buy things to preserve and feed their family
