Do you do science and history with your kids? I live in a state where you have to do all four subjects and I guess this is something that I get a little confused with doing with a kindergartener especially since it’s something that I don’t remember doing at that age.

Hi love the video this is my first year homeschooling my 6 year old. You said you set a time for 30min then they switch do you still have them switch even if they didn’t finish a lesson or do you let them finish first?

I’m currently pregnant with my fourth baby and not sure If I’m simply lacking the energy or the motivation to figure out my homeschooling schedule! Maybe a little of both LOL! If you laminate them you can use dry erase markers and save on paper. They are adorable though ❤

Just found your channel. My 5 yr old is named Solomon, I have a 3 yr old Olivia and we will be having an Abigail in end of july 2022. It's nice to hear of another boy with this name. I like your schedule design. I feel a little overwhelmed with trying to do it all.

Thank you for sharing your homeschool plan. I have one in 1st, one in pre-k and one toddler. I like the idea of having the oldest play or read with the younger sibling while you work with another child. I’ll have to try that this year!! Loved the bloopers at the end as well. Such a real glimpse into your day with the kids!!

Sorry! I know she's coming out with an un-dated version of this but not sure when. Plum Paper has a teacher planner that is laid out very similarly. They also have a disc hole punched version so you can use it like a happy planer. Hope this helps!

My kids lose their pens and pencils often but I don’t care as it’s worth it. My kids have their own planners that i add to do lists to. I remember habit training my kids, still am but it looks different as pre teens and a teenager. I don’t mind messes either, I pick my battles as well. It’s awesome to see ur daughter serve her siblings!!! We’ve found that typing as came naturally as my kids type their assignments. My twins fight. We have a rough flow. We use a checklist as well!!! U need a journal for spiritual quotes!!!

I kid you not….I just bought one of those timers today! I hadn’t even seen your video yet. But the timer on my phone is too hard to just do also. My phone has a password, otherwise…..you know…kids steal it and I can’t find it. 😜 but anyway…I’m so excited about that timer!! Lol!

I love this!! Im planning on transitioning to being a homeschool mama. My kids are currently doing virtual learning & its honestly not working out at all. We hate it so much. But im so scared to be honest. Like where do it start? How do I start? My kids are in 2nd & kinder & im really interested in The Good & The Beautiful. I just had my husband print out the language arts & math placement tests.

Fairly new sub here, and I just love your energy and honesty so much. We use TGTB for handwriting as well, and my 5 year old loves it. She's over halfway done with it already after just a month into the school year.

I like that your so transparent and not trying to fake this imaginary family especially with kiddos always perfect which isn’t true. I love your channel. My kids need to have a schedule just to know what’s coming but I don’t have a time that I follow so like a block but free flowing

My 5 year old has to wear an eye patch too! We are down to 50% time compared to what he needed a year ago. It’s been a long process but it’s been helping his lazy eye.

I love that they are taking care of each other (& not just the oldest child) and getting special time with their siblings that aren’t necessarily the closest in age to them. It will build relationships with each other that they may not have with normal playtime.

15 pencil drops times 10 homeschooling kids equals 150 pencil drops a day 😂 Pencil drops for us means the kiddo was playing with their pencil inside of listening to mom 7 out of 10 times.

It's where we come together with other families doing CC and learn the new grammar (or the new memory sentences) for the next week. It's mostly for the community. ❤️

The kids go to their classes taught by tutors (other CC moms) and moms participate in class too. If you'd like to check a community day out in your area just go to the CC website and find a community. There are usually open house days where you and your kiddos can join the fun before deciding to sign up or not. 😁

What does symposium mean to you? We also do CC as a family, I just am unfamiliar as to what you plan there. I know what sandbox is and have access to CC connected.

Oh yay! Symposium has Greek origins and means a conference or meeting to discuss a particular subject. So in this case we get together to discuss different subjects as opposed to doing individual subjects. 😁
