I’m so jealous of your huge bottle of vanilla extract :’) Just a tiny one costs a fortune over here! I love that stuff in Sally Fallon’s custard recipe. Soooo good!

Make your own vanilla. I have been making my own for years and years. I get organic vanilla beans off Amazon. Put 5 beans in a quart jar and two of the beans I split in half only half way down lengthwise. Fill the jar with vodka and shake it well. Place it in your cupboard and give it a shake every day. In about 2 months, you have vanilla. That's it. And it is just absolutely amazing. You will NEVER buy vanilla again from anywhere. You can use the beans about 3 times before replacing them. I always have 2 quarts of vanilla going at a time. I give it to my daughter and daughter in love and we all just love it. Give it a try. :)

Hi...i thought your whole family were in gaps diet. But I saw oats, potatoes, etc. Have you finished with gaps or what? Sorry, I was just curious

Some of us are, and some of us aren't, but most of the time we all eat GAPS just because it's easier. Like I said in the video, the things you see here mostly aren't things we eat often. Mostly it's meat and vegetables :)

I'd avoid vinegars and water or any liquid bottled in plastic...

I know, I wish they'd redo their packaging for the vinegar. I should contact them about it! And I usually go for the sparking water in glass, just not this time.

Great video. I love your little wooden crates. I’m on the verge of trying azure but my pantry needs a wee bit more organization first. I really want to try a variety of grains too. Thanks for sharing. ☮️❤️☕️-Kirsten

I love your videos! Keep them coming. So nice to see others with the same food values. We love Azure too! My favorite pantry staples to have on hand are dairy free allergy free chocolate chips, raw almond butter, sweet potatoes, onions, ginger, honey, cassava flour, star anise, and sauerkraut!

In general we try to avoid them. Dr. Natasha doesn't recommend them, because canning depletes a lot of nutrients.
