That’s awesome. Yea I’m currently listening to the Dune series as well. It is available on #Audible. I’m just finished with the second book. Starting the third book soon. The recent movie just covers half of the first book. They will make movies about this for a while 😊

Wow, how exciting time it could be crossing a theoretically locked border to Brazil! The boat trip was an amazing experience as it seems and what a mind-blowing plan shared about owning a boat and sailing across the 7 seas.

Yea we were lucky. We just heard from others that the situation is getting stricter by the day. Some had to show all kinds of unnecessary documentation. It’s a shame. I wonder if things will ever go back to normal…?

What a great adventure! Having seen a bit of Brazil, would you it's better to live there or Paraguay?
@HaveYourADVENTURE
Hey Randy. Thank you 🙌🏼 We spent about the same time in Paraguay and Brazil and we enjoy both places a lot. Brazil is a lot bigger place and therefore caters to many different tastes. If you are fine with Portuguese as your language and have the around 150,000 USD for an investment visa easily available, I’d say, choose Brazil right away. Generally though, it is a lot easier to get Paraguayan residency and therefore I would recommend that as a first step. It’s easy to “live” in Paraguay but then go to Brazil on a regular basis. And once you established your love for Brazil, you can always pursue that residency a lot easier from Paraguay than from overseas. I hope that helps. If you are having more interests in Brazil, stay tuned for the second season of our travel documentary. 10 episodes about travel and expat life in Brazil. Watch the Overlanding Brazil trailer today and you will get a good glimpse of what to expect in Brazil. kzitem.info/news/bejne/pWeF0ZNob3yipGU&loop=1&rel=0

Nice drive, surprised at the quality of roads. 1800 km , that's like Toronto to Jacksonville Florida. We drive that in 2 days. Would be nice to know prices. Gasoline, groceries, hotel , your steak dinner. Helpful info for us Gringos.
@HaveYourADVENTURE

Yes it was a nice drive, roads are mostly good. Especially in Brazil. You could probably drive it all in 2 days as well but we really didn’t feel like it and made it in 5. Probably around 5 hours driving every day. We wanted to have time for a good nights rest and to see a little bit around us. Diesel cost us around 55usd per 500km with our Land Cruiser Prado. Groceries and eating out is slightly cheaper than in the US, if you want the same standard. (You can get a lot cheaper too). With the hotels, Alexandra just released a video on that. We always aim to stay on average below 35 usd per night and that is doable. Check out here video on her channel here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/qW2vtImhaZ-dhYI
