Thank you for your kind comment! Its was such a pleasure to spend time in Bulgaria. In fact, I'm planning another trip with my family there soon, even teaching them some Bulgarian phrases like "edin hlab molya." :) All the best!

@@parks4lifeHaha very nice. I think the Rhodopi mountains is one of the most majestic places in Bulgaria. Also the Kardzhali area full of nature and Devin with the waterfalls and hikes because I see you are a sportsman. Burgas also became pretty cool, you can visit it in June and see their Sea Garden and new 3D Planetarium. Finally, recommend Belogradchick Rocks it is a very unique area. But the list goes on and on, because Bulgaria always surprises (at least me) and is full of interesting places especially if you are a nature freak lol. I tavel a lot around the country and always find something new! I hope your family like Bulgaria! Stay healthy and welcome back anytime!😊

Thank you for your suggestions! I do enjoy the outdoor activities in Bulgaria, Belogradchik was a highlight when we went for sure. But I'll have to check out Devin and the Krdzhali area, I don't think i've been there yet. Take care!

Learning the language in 2 years... Do you have some examples of you speaking? Would love to hear that :)

Thanks for the comment! In our next video we travel to a small village called Koprivchitsa and we walk around the old town in traditional bulgarian clothing, speaking some Bulgarian. Its a beautiful language, similar in many ways to Russian, but also quite different.

@@parks4life Are you specifically mentioning PART-2? I examined it, and at the 6:41 timestamp, an individual mentioned, "I think I'll have the chocolate and banana," using the Bulgarian terms for "chocolate & banana." Could you confirm if this is the example you are referring to, or if there is another instance I might have overlooked? Would love to see the clip and specify the location within it. Just curious as I want to learn the language someday. Thank you.

No, sorry, i was talking about Part 3, which I haven't published yet, but will in the next month or so. My friend and I have a short conversation about being Bulgarian boys and joke about my shoes. We didn't speak Bulgaria to the camera so much, but I could do another video about learning the Bulgarian language if that's of interest. It took me about 6 months to become fluent in conversational Bulgarian and I was there about 2 years.

@@parks4life Thank you for the clarification. I'll patiently await part-3. On a related note, I recently discovered an individual on KZitem who uses the platform to practice speaking Bulgarian. After six months, did you reach a proficiency level comparable to this guy or even surpass it? I'm just curious to gauge what might be achievable: kzitem.info/news/bejne/xYSYq3ttaWuFbG0

And sometimes i wonder, why do you focus on Sofia? Yes, it is our capital, but we have so much you can see, like Plovdiv, Rousse, the old places in Vidin (Bdin)... i can't even begin to explain how wonderful are the bulgarian cities

The video starts in Sofia, but we actually did highlight staria grad in Plovidiv in the video (stop #3) and Rila Monestary as well. We're working on a second video with highlights three cities on the black Sea and a third video where we visit veliko turnovo, belogradchik, vasil levski's birthplace and more! I really agree with you, Bulgaria is a wonderful country. Thanks for your comment! vsichko hubavo!
