We’ll done I was at Waraweena a couple of weeks back and rode Mt Gill (just the regular loop) and that was plenty for me. It was a tough, demanding but fun ride. 👍

You have to give Dave credit for his commitment on the big girl, regardless of the terrain on these trips. I went bush bashing today on my Rally with a 300 2 stroke, DRZ400, CRF 230 and an old XT660. All home unscathed!

That looked like really hard work on the T7! We all know the 890 can go anywhere. I wondered at first if the "no power" was something like traction control but a slipping throttle grip makes sense too -- he needs to get a stronger handshake :-)

How seriously good was that....Thank you for the owners at Waraweena for their hospitality, noting that the OCR 2024 will be at Arkaroola, I would say that there might be some additional riders out that way. Busting to do a Flinders trip...soon....

On you Shonky what an amazing place the Flinders is. That track is definitely worth exploring. Incredible video very well shot and very entertaining as usual but this one was a cut above. Superb riding especially from the heavy bike pilots. Would be jealous but I had my fill on the Trans European Trail in Greece and did 3800 ks mostly on mountain ridges going up to 2400m. Amazing place you got to have a go one day. Ran out of time 😢coming back to Australia next week. Great work mate thanks 🙏

Great video, thanks for sharing. I like the fairing on your CRF rally. That’s the thing I never liked about those bikes: the “minion” headlights. Looks like you found a better looking replacement. I also watched your light vs heavy bike video. I ride a 2005 KTM 640 adventure which I think is the unicorn bike (that’s only my opinion) and I also like the CRF 300 rally. A friend of mine recently bought a Honda AT and the first thing I said was “how are you going to pick that thing up Tony?” Needless to say, I’ve helped him pick it up several times. Keep up the good work.

Thanks mate, I have an Adventure Rally X front tower on my CRF Rally. I have a slightly bigger screen on it for these long distance rides. I really like the KTM640 adventure, and have a few mates with them. I modern version of them would be the true modern unicorn. Once I tried to pick up my Africa Twin, I knew it was time for a new bike!
