You should have gave us the Link to where you bought the overhead console.

Why the hell do you have cables running from your bull bar to the roof rack??? Looks ridiculous

If you don’t know what your looking at then don’t comment! Your rig just backs in to the flower garden, that must be the only 4x4 it knows

would this also fit in the 07 model?

You will have to look at the kit fitment description, I know it does not work on all years

Suppose to be a console install vid and console is already installed. More content on lights and cb. Complete waste of time.

Yeah really did not advertise it as a install video, it is a video about us installing it. Big difference. Sorry I wasted your time, hope you did not watch all the way to the end.

Appreciate the vid. I was considering getting one of these for my 2003 Toyota Double Cab Hilux, however the sun visors have the same 'winglets' that yours have, which I thought may conflict with the installation, but I can see how the console mounts now, by coming up 4 or 5" short of the top of the windshield. The only thing I'm not really liking is that heinous, exposed rear bracket! Thanks.

Wow!! Great video and thank you for all the little details, as I was watching the video I noticed your interior set up as well as the exterior, bumpers front and back etc… Would you happen to have a video out of a walk around highlighting all the different mods, I’m slowly outfitting my 2010 FJ and this one I really like what you have done. Thank You for your time.

What is the point of the wire rope cables from the front bumper to the roof rack?

Maybe , I would have to sit in the truck and give my judgement, currently FJ is in the shop, so I cannot test your comment, but you may be right

Looks awesome... I've debated getting this, but since I have the Trail Teams I have the hill assist and all those controls up there. I never use the hill assist, and I'm seriously looking into how much work it will be to move switches and what a wiring nightmare it may be.

I would definitely look into how you could mount the console, it really is a very handy setup and transforms the interior of the FJ.

Rob, First of all, I appreciate the fine video. I have 3 radio’s I want to install in the FJ, and this looks like a good start. The hints you gave are very helpful. One question I have. When you are talking about running two wires from the rear light (the ground and power for the console), and assuming you are not putting a switch pro in to control the power to the radio, would it be possible to run the console power of the same power cable as the radio? Then just ground the console through the opening of where the front light was? I appreciate you answer in advance. Thanks...
