Outdoor cooking recipes are always something I'm on the lookout for! Today on Cowgirl Cookin' we're making my Fire Raosted Salsa Roja Recipe for Tacos and Fire Roasted Salsa Verde Recipe on my Barebones Living Cowboy Grill. I'll also share an old western story of a woman homesteader named Eleanor Pruitt Stewart.

Salsa Verde With a Twist
Ingredients:
20-25 Tomatillos
1 Onion
1 Serrano pepper (with or without seeds)
4-5 cloves of Garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
3 tablespoons cilantro
1/2 an avocado
Roast the tomatillos, onion, Serrano pepper, and Garlic. Then add all ingredients to a blender or food processor until you get your desired consistency.
Salsa Roja Ingredients
4-6 Tomatoes
1-2 Onions Quartered
1 Jalepeno (with or without seeds)
1 Poblano (with or without seeds)
5-6 cloves of Garlic
2 tsp salt
1 tsp Oregano
3 tablespoons Cilantro.
Follow the same instructions as above.
