Short and sweet! Definitely easy to overlook when shopping for a lot of stuff in one trip. I appreciate the minimal repetitiveness and lack of drawn out explanation. Some KZitemrs will say as much as they can just to make a 3 minute video into a 10 minute video. Keep up the good work!

I have a bout 70' run from pool 20A buried line to shed. I run a 12/3 to shed with a RV plug. Works so much better than the 14. I run thru 2" PVC and that pvc has withstood TX summers, 2 ice storms, mowers weed wacker, etc... Someday I will get a trencher and run line to shed but for some lights and ocassional power tools it works well. Definitely not go bigger. 10 was out of budget but 12 will power a saw cutting 4x4 without lag where as 14 you can tell the motor was dragging and that was without the pool pump on. With 12 the 1.5hp pump and saw can keep going.

Just bought a 110V Inverter welder. Specs show it draws 25.5A when operating. I do not have any 30A breakers in my house, but I do have an outdoor RV station 125V, 30A, but it uses a weird plug. My welder uses a standard 3 prong plug like the one on your coffee maker. The RV outlet is in an awkward spot on our property, so I need to be about 15 feet away, which means, extension cord. Are there any 30A extension cords out there that has the standard 3 prong male (coffee maker) and female ends on them?

Is it a 30 amp twist lock coming off of the welder? There are 30 amp twist lock to three prong converters that are made for generators which you may be able to use. They’re not super expensive either.

Like the video… May also mention running daisy chain chords… I’m guessing two equal chords cuts amps in half… I’m considering solid UF feed to outdoor duplex setup for Christmas lights rather than having a jungle of chords…. Next year 😂

I do not have many outlets at home,Can I use extension cord all summer for my portable ac? is it safe or not?

You’ll definitely want to check the power requirements for your portable AC unit to see if you can use the extension cord with it.

The other problem with using an undersized extension cord is the potential damage to the tool or appliance.

Hi, what about using cord for outdoor small fountains
@ReluctantDIYers
7 ай бұрын
As long as you purchase an outdoor rated cord that can handle the draw of your fountain, that should not be an issue.

Always go 10 gauge GFCI protected cords just to have your bases covered.

Is that like wireless? I've never had so may wire filled cords, since I went wireless.
