I wish I could switch spots with you, just to get away from the city for a couple of days lol , I love the peace and quiet atmosphere the country side has. Great video, planting is fun, hope they all grow strong and beautiful. Have a blessed weekend

I'm in Palm Springs, and last year started moving all of my plants to pots. The sandy soil here is rough to work with, The roses love it, and so does Thyme, Rosemary, oregano, and spring onions. But everything else went into pots under the pergola patio cover. Tomatoes, pineapple, all the other herbs, grapevine crawling up the pergola posts. Strawberries, and testing out blueberries this year. I am also repotting things that are getting pot bound, but my black Birds of Paradise are now to big to move. Learning how to plant in the desert is a learning curve.

Great job. Love what you do. You encourage me to fill my urns. The farm is beautiful what little I see. I love the country but poor me lives in a small city. You are a Martha Stewart clone. Thanks for sharing with us all you do.

ohmygosh! urns, why did i not think of that. that would be perfect to disguise the hideous square of cement right in front of the house that covers the old well, im thinking a low wide urn. like you im not a flowers person, its nice to see someone doing textures in the garden, very beautiful.

I planted all perennials in my pots this year...lavender, Russian sage and beautiful purple catmint. They are just so pretty and I will put them our in the yard this fall and do it again next year! I also tried a baby corkscrew and a baby scarlet curls willow in pots on the patio and so far, so good! I need a crappy building to store them in this winter though..zone 5. 🤓 Prolly the garage will have to do. If my husband doesn’t pour Roundup on them or something though...he’s not a fan of willows. 😉. But I LOVE them! They would look awesome in your bigger urns!!

Funny I did the same with my window baskets (those that go under the windowsill, I have them hanging on a wall on my driveway..sorry if I'm confusing) but I used the same thing, with some flowering grasses en those hanging annuals you had in the first pot and even put some tiny conifers in them along with some mini shrubs.. it looks very cool but as you can guess the pots are already overcrowded. But the experiment worked imho (: loved yours too btw!
