Noticed you have a playlist for silent switches. Loving your work and comparisons esp grouping these types together which makes perfect sense. Thank you 🙏🙇 Btw does anyone have experience in the outcome of lubing these switches? Are they worth the endeavor?

@@mTLpHfumfaomd They have a smoother press, less sand, better lubrication + there is a diffuser. My keyboard shines brighter in the dark, in my opinion it's a good upgrade, even if it's not global.

Wow this is a great video and presentation style, I just subbed! Also do you happen to know a good keyboard build that would further make these switches even quieter? I'm looking for a 96% layout (I need keypad for work).

Those switches are a pleasant surprise coming from Outemu. I live in a hate-love relationship with them because the only ABNT2 keyboards with decent pricing in my country come with either Outemu or Huano switches. I don't like either of them. There was a time you could get Sharkoon with Kailh red or brown switches but now it's impossible to find one new and they're soldered. I know how to de-solder but lubing is so much work with those. :(
@DerliFontoura

Hey did you heard about rivet mod? I did on my abnt2. If you know how to change a soldered switch and have the tools, should try. The size I used is M1.3 and 3.5mm lenght. You gonna need 2pc for each switch. But first look for some tutorial.

Another box-styled I wanna try out - how does it feel to type on after a couple of minutes with such a *short travel* ?
@zorancvetkovic7204
4 ай бұрын
The activation is at 2mm, so it is not short more like a standard. The bottom out is at 3.3mm, which makes them even more pleasant to use, whether typing or playing.Otherwise, because of the microphone, the video does not give a true picture of the tones of the keys, which are almost inaudible. I have no problem typing after midnight now, which was not the case before.

Maybe not, their pin are a little bit thickier than 3pin switchs. And the simple hotswap, like this has some soldering inside de rivet so it makes dificult to impossible to use thickier pin. You can sand/file the pins if you really into silent switch. I have these switchs and I tried then in a keybord with the same kind of hotswap, I bent the pins. Didn't try to file the pins because the keyboard I installed then was another one.
