Keep in mind, the one who was afraid of Chris was physically normal, perhaps even sane since he talks pretty normally. The ones who clearly have abnormalities or whatnot are “Rejects”, but the ones who seem more “normal” are the ones he targets. Miles most of all since he’s clearly pretty intelligent, fast on his feet and of course not a “Reject”, nor a patient (at least in the traditional sense). His motivation to kill Miles makes sense, and considering the Miles does indeed become the new host, Chris’ prediction was eerily correct.

That dialogue at the end is one of the saddest scenes in the series, even more so than the pyromaniac, because he's right - Chris isn't really doing the 'right thing's, he's just following Murkoff's security protocol in a twisted way. Miles ended up becoming the host and so far he seems to have been more of an antihero than a real monster. It is interesting to see that his victims are predominantly all Murkoff security though. If you go by the comics, Chris used to be a Murkoff security technician himself and he had already been driven insane by exposure to brainwashing procedures that were used at the Spindletop clinic to hypnotize other war veterans. It's implied that Chris murdered the doctor and the other veterans subject to that therapy in order to 'contain' them from potentially harming innocent civilians. Another piece of the puzzle: Chris used to serve in Afghanistan, and Miles' vendetta against Murkoff started after he was fired from his reporting job for talking about shady things Murkoff was doing there. My theory is that Murkoff might have actually been brainwashing soldiers in Afghanistan in order to terrorize locals and plunder archaeological sites, and Chris might have been one of those brainwashing subjects even back then.

Yeah, overriding basic human instinct and reprogramming compassion to only be felt towards a certain group is the crux of military brainwashing. First and foremost is the deterrent of having this kind of leashed crazy ready to be set loose. And the worst part is: his cause is just. The Walrider is an aberration.

i wonder why walker is so strong, i mean, sure he is very tall with a huge body to support that, but being able to rip off people's heads so easily is impossible strength to achieve, maybe when he was experimented on he got injected with all kinds of drugs that disformed him making him into the monster we see? I don't know, for him to be a normal human and have strength like that is nonsense
@Kortifex

It was the experiments that's why he has freakishly long claws that are not even fingernail like I think that's how he rips the heads off not strength alone

Chris was already that strong from the start before the experiments done to him at Mount Massive, as in the first issue of the comic series 'The Murkoff Account', we see that he's not only still easily capable of tearing people's heads from their bodies, but is able to rip the entire body of a fully grown, healthy adult man to pieces. It's actually incredible, regardless of how impossible it realistically is.

Because the whistleblower takes place before the disaster, and it gets along with the first game, which means while Miles is getting chased by Chris, Waylon is getting chased by Eddie. So from the second that the disaster happens, and Waylon wakes up after being tied to that chair and being tortured, Miles is already in looking for documents and running for his life.

Waylon only encountered Chris in the prison block before Miles' arrival (Proof: Father Martin was writing "Down the drain" when Waylon arrives the prison block). Then, Waylon was drugged with gas by Gluskin and fainted for 12 hours in the vocational block. Meanwhile, Chris was killed and Miles became the host in the underground lab before Waylon arrived the exit.
