at least I understood the splitting of 4 srutis on re, ga ma ,dha and ni thus totalling to be 20 srutis as sa and pa are universally consonant and do not change :) very interesting! Loved it!

Nice. I have learnt carnatic music for 16 years and know some theory and would like to add on to this. Now I have been learning hindustani music for the past 7 years and i am trying to gain more knowledge in that genre of music as well. Both systems are wonderful indian classical music systems and if understood and learnt properly, they can be a wonderful experience.

This whole video is useless to anyone who does not already know Carnatic music! An introduction needs to be given first defining all terms used.

Karnatak being oldest form of music faculty. And Tamil as oldest language created most explored concept of music. Music has most sensible syllables, carnie music is its exponent.

Since music is sound, the lecture would turn more meaningful with audio demonstrations

There is a mistake in this video. Nyuna sruti is 25/24 , not 35/22.

Just throwing out information without explaining what much of it means. Not very helpful
