Amazing video and really quite scary with some of the wind and waves in the Drake Passage. I have thought about doing the Antarctic, but, from the last few videos I've seen, I probably will not. We just returned two weeks ago from our Galapagos cruise with Celebrity and a week in Peru for Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley and that is about the most adventurous my wife can do. Thanks so much for sharing this.

From Antarctica to cruising the Mississippi River - you & Helen really get to enjoy the best that cruising has to offer (I’ve heard the glaciers calving in Alaska - it does sound like thunder - I’ve actually looked up - thinking an airplane was overhead - I just caught the end of the giant hunk of glacier falling into the water - lol)!!

Hi guys. did you witness any iceburg Calving like you would in Alaska and if so what did the scientists think about it? I know calving is a highlight in Alaska but i'm assuming the scientists would see it a a very negative phenomenon.

Hi Rich and Helen. Enjoyed the series a great deal. If you want more Antarctica go to: (Gone Venturing), here on YT. Viktor worked at the South Pole and McMurdo Station and he has a huge series of videos from both locations, and coming and going from the White Continent. Thanks for the work. You stand in a very select group of explorers now.

There was option to join either snorkelling or kayaking groups instead of the main excursion groups (these did cost extra and you had to sign up for the whole cruise rather than one or two excursions). Thanks for watching 👍
