The White Sisters Trio has been a blessing and inspiration to me these last 40+ years and helped me through some of the most traumatic hospitalizations in my life. I have recently been in touch by email with Fay White Fusonie. I was saddened to hear that Janet and Joyce, the twins, both had Altzeimer's disease, and that Janet went home to heaven in 2010 and I believe Joyce is in hospice care. I will write to Fay again soon, and their music is still blessing me as I am still recovering from this past year when I was so ill I could not speak or even stand with help for 3-1/2 months in hospital. I would urge anyone who appreciates beautiful 3-part harmony to give a listen to the music of the "White Sisters Trio" on KZitem or cd's. Really good music is timeless!

+Ruth Wilson : There used to be some sisters from the 50's that were called : "THE WHITE SISTERS" that sang in pretty much this same style, but they were Black Women. I would like to find some of their songs as well. It was either a duet or a trio - I think it was a trio.

We are invited to come and believe the unbelievable, receive the inconceivable, and see beyond our wildest imagination. What we shall see when we get there will go way beyond our greatest expectations. Our finite minds could never imagine what the Great I Am has prepared for us.

I play jazz guitar and participate in worship at a local church. It's not an easy mix, but rewarding. I'm sitting here wondering what inspirational songs could possibly be arranged in a nice jazz format. Then i recall my parents taking all the kids to a White Sisters concert long long long ago. Don't how how they did it, because they never had two nickels to rub together. But I've never forgotten this song, which the Sisters did that evening.

.I can imagine how you feel Dan, I myself am from a Country Music background so most gospel music blends perfectly with my genre. Gospel music is generally written in simple format for a reason, so anyone can play and sing it in any setting. Having said that, I would imagine that the African American churches would have nailed the jazz themes a long time ago. BTW I love jazz guitar.

I miss hearing Gospel singers that can really SING. It seems you don't really have to be a good singer any more. There are plenty of people that want to hear beautiful Gospel music around.

I remember the White Sisters songs well - as I took them with me on a Revere reel to reel tape recorder on my tour to Thule Greenland back in the early 60’s. Neighbor do you have a copy of the White Sisters singing “Drinking at the springs of living water” that you could post on KZitem? I would love to hear every one of their recordings again - if you could post them for all to enjoy. Thanks
