I really appreciate that Jay always gives his guests the opportunity to speak and fully flesh out their ideas. A lot of hosts tend to cut off the guests when they're speaking or feel the need to constantly share longwinded stories. It really shows that there's no ego involved.

This was a great conversation and definitely sending much love to you guys for sharing this type of content. Much respect to Charlamagne for sharing his experience and growth I really think it's important for people who come from different places that are not as privileged to see how much you can change and grow when reaching out to the right people and changing your environment and mindset. Very inspiring and great message to everyone trying to get better by focusing on our Mental health❤️

Listening to Charlemagne talk about his mistakes so raw is really refreshing. He's not trying to virtue signal, or gain pity or empathy... he's just being real and talking himself through the learning process without judgement. We need to de-stigmatize mistakes as failure. The real failure is not to learn from our mistakes, or not moving because of fear.

Who raised you is who you are. the reason you're an idiot is because they were, the reason youre achieving your potential is because they did. Thats a cold hard truth. Worst is how victims of abuse almost always end up abusing their own children. Like its a curse getting passed down through the generations, nearly impossible to avoid. And its not black and white either, everyone has something theyre passing down thats keeping thier children from living free. still, it explains a lot, removes a little guilt, little shame once you see it. but dont bother wasting a lifetime on therapy, you cant change your dna that fast. at least not baselines and foundations. you can try and focus on your kid, but the darn things go and find thier own version, and youll never figure out where it all went wrong. theres nothing wrong or right. life just is suffering, everything in nature pays the same price for this precious moment. were just complicated...
