She's so right, I can find something I'd rather watch on KZitem way quicker than all these new shows and movies out of Hollywood. Even my 8 year old daughter wants to watch Lisa with me😁😄

Thank you so much! Totally validated my feeling of leaving TikTok, Instagram and even Facebook behind and just focusing on blog and KZitem

Love your blog / KZitem channel and podcast . I’m a current student in your course and I love it too! 100% agree with kali on everything she said about your course , you do an exceptional job at teaching others how to navigate the blogging world . This is my fourth go around with blogging , in the past I’ve given up because it can be overwhelming to learn everything on your own . I’m so glad I finally invested in your course !

Lisa, I always am excited when you have new podcasts or new content and am constantly going to your blog for something. Because of you, I have learned and been making all sorts of things with sourdough.

Thank you for having Kali on your podcast! I’ve been following her since her publication of her Notebook Quarterly, and I am a proud owner of all her printed works. She really delivers what her tagline: making a world a softer and more beautiful place. I can’t wait to see more content from her, and this candid conversation is a nice way to get to know and hear the behind the scene of the blogging business. Thank you for sharing!

I think I have impostor syndrome, but in reverse. I always feel a little strange commenting on peoples videos because I feel like I'm a weirdo that doesn't know you but I'm talking to you like I do. It feels like well old friends and I sat down for coffee and a chat, but in reality, I'm just some stranger behind the screen and you have no idea who I am. And what do other people think when they read my comments?! But I also know how much it helps the channel when people comment and interact. I really enjoy the podcasts like this that are comfy and conversational.

It is so interesting to hear that no one taught Kali how to clean (I was taught how to clean so I was a bit shocked for a second and never thought about those who haven't been taught). It is cool she is learning though through videos. I have heard and definitely seen people recycling their content and it always works when they do. . They make things new through doing it. It's fun. I love Pinterest and enjoyed hearing the conversation about it. I have found old things on Pinterest from the blog I once had long ago but I took down my blog a good six years ago. Seeing how things have been pinned so long, I wish I didn't get rid of my website/blog. Hooray for KZitem fans. Thanks for sharing your conversation with us all today, ladies! You are amazing. Just a little side not:, My husband and I have owned a blue Yeti microphone like yours for a decade (used for a podcast we once ran for a few years) . . .I don't like correcting people so I hope you will take this in stride (and I am saying this is a very gentle kind way), but yours is not really set up as it is meant to be used. . you should be talking in the part that is underneath (the bottom part you have here) and have it more upright (it states so on the box). Your sound will be better that way.

I suffered burnout 10 years ago, it was pretty catastrophic. It’s only now in the last couple of years,I really recognise what my limits are and take action to prevent it happening again.

Just what I needed! Thank you ladies! We are closing on a home this week that has 9 acres that we have been praying for, for a long time so we can start our homesteading dreams. But…with all the packing and moving stuff, I have just not had the time to record or work on my KZitem videos. My girls (have 5 girls), are going to help me make a video with packing tips but my brain feels like mush right now with everything that needs done and I know once we get to the new house and what is needed for my garden and all that, it’s going to be tough staying consistent with making KZitem content for a bit. Any advice?

I shared my approach in my most recent podcast but for me I just block off a couple of hours in the afternoon...M-TH and I keep a running list...I work off my list for those days....
