They say when the student is ready, then the teacher will appear. I did a google search and your tiktok came up where it said the word that will free you from a Jezebel is "NO". I'm READY to not only hear this word, but more importantly DO this word. I was in a former relationship where I recognized that she was a Jezebel Succubus. But I never understood WHY I accepted such terrible treatment. I kept peeling back the layers and I notice how my own mother treated my step father, and then my biological father. I've grown up in environment of Jezebel's and Ahab's and didn't even know it. There's a spirit of Son-Husband, Enmeshment, Codependency energy that has infested my sister and I for years. I NEED tools to not only Pray these generational curses away, but to ensure my actions, my walk and talk ensures that they NEVER return within my family and my future own family again. I welcome your prayers AND an opportunity to speak to you sir @RealFaith by Mark Driscoll

Wow! I'm learning so much here, but in my case he's the jezabel. It is so exhausting dealing with people like this! My stepmom is for sure a jezabel & she was so abusive to me & controlling! She has always controlled everything in my family & my dad is most definitely the Ahab. He let the abuse happen & only once stood up to her. I am now not considered part of the family, for standing up for myself & leaving when I was 15. I am dealing with severe PTSD from all of this.

I do believe that narcissists have to be made into completely new creatures. Their hearts are stones that respond to nothing but hate, fear, self pity, and dishonesty. For God to regenerate the heart of such a person, is to take a stinking dead corps and make it alive. Like when Ezekiel preaches to the valley of dead bones, can these bones live? Preachers preach the gospel to a valley of dry dead bones.

Hmmmmmm. Some people have the religious spirit on them or whatever the case maybe. That's why they can't fully hear or grasp what is being said. Because the enemy influence them to get fixated on one statement, sentence, or word and take it ALL out of context. And the enemy banks on that because that is how he keep people blind, bound, lost, foolish, AND ignorant. Lord have mercy. Like the Bible says my people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge. It's not because the Holy Spirit isn't giving it to us freely. But it is because WE choose to reject it and ignore. My advise to you all is that before you listen to any sermon ask the Lord to silent any voices that is not HIS in Jesus' name. So, that you can TRULY HEAR FROM THE SPIRIT OF GOD CLEARLY AND FREELY IN THE MIGHTY AND MATCHLESS NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH. THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES. AMEN. ❤❤❤

Same goes for a man withholding sex. See, men are notorious for withholding sex, when he's pissed or pouting. Men withhold love, romance, affection, and act cool and distant. We men do it too, after he hooks her and he expects her to give up her last name for his butt. Yeah some women probably do try to avoid sex, if he's doing nothing to help her get satisfaction like he gets. Intercourse doesn't do for women, what it does for men. And this is a fact. It's a huge hassle. But she historically tries to keep the family happy and together, as she puts up with husband even after he cheats and stops the love and affection. We all know that. As far as sex, if he is just doing that one two hump and bump like many husbands do. BTW, women get bored with their men too. Women just put up with him, to keep her family intact for her children's sake. So go back and research.

Last Sept we sold the house and by the end of May our divorce will almost be finalized. I brought up a testimony about my view on biblical marriage that I was asked to share given I was still in the trenches and I felt that if I could let her know I was going to do it I probably shouldn’t do it. The conversation went about as I expected given her rightful bitterness towards some people at our church as well as the association she has with the building. I felt I stood firm for Jesus and we got past it. Ended up spending a few hours together catching up, having a beverage and sharing a bite to eat. It felt like a date to me which warmed my hearts. But she still is where she is and I really hope she can “heal” and by that I mean realize God isn’t the “selfish asshole who only put her as a priority when it benefits him” that was who I was before. Been impressed by many teachings, but we should avoid Strong Drink per the Word of God! In fact, Wine in that day, was less strong than our modern day Wine, and always diluted (alcohol content approximating 'near beer'... unless they were in rebellion), often boiled, or was indeed New Wine, which we call Grape Juice... They knew Noah and Lot got drunk with horrible consequences, etc. Whisky is for the dying, Wine too is a medicine... per Proverbs.

Dilution was to flavor and disinfect the water... Of course then and now, of one wanted to get buzzed, intoxicated, drunk, etc. one could do it, but the culture then as a whole tried to avoid it. Our modern culture makes it much easier to become intoxicated. With much stronger drink (not used for flavoring/disinfecting water), and a culture that embraces it, it is much easier to stumble and cause others to do so...

Are you part of the Calvary family of churches? Of the 3 I've attened (I've had to bounce around due to life's dictates) but it seems like you'd fit right in to their general model of teaching. Howenver they move through the bible in a systematic way I don't fully get yet. Trust me, taking this way more serious at location #3. Time to lay down and give it up.

This message was very jezabel women focused. Jezebels as men are extremely dangerous. Separating from a demonic Jezebel was extremely dangerous for me and our kids. I had my life threatened several times. Every time I stood up I was made to pay. Its been a very tough 2 decades and now I see the flesh or demonic Jezebel in my daughter. Please join me in praying for her to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Pastor, what if both my parents have jazabel and ahab spirits and alternate depending on the situations? As a 45 year old daughter, (with lyme/autoinmune disorder) still living in their home and I'm being controlled, manipulated and scapegoated and attacked by both?? I have a job but it's not enough to cover all my expenses and get out. I've been praying, what else can I do? I try to be an eliha but they get worse against me

I am in the same situation. I am in my 30's. I finally moved across country last year to get away from my mothers abuse. It was going great for a while. I had so much peace and happiness. I was healing from what I endured. Unfortunately, I ended up homeless a few months later. I lived in my car for 2 months and showered at the gym. It was one of the hardest things I have done but was necessary for my growth. I ended up moving back in to my mothers house. She is a Jezebel. She is a covert narcissist. My best advice is to move out and live out of your car until you can save enough to live on your own. Moving back in has been the worst decision I have ever made. I chose my comfort zone and I let my fear of being homeless drive me instead of my faith in God. You can't stay in this situation, it is what is fueling all your disorders. I have depression, anxiety, cptsd, adhd and chronic adrenal fatigue due to all the trauma I have endured. You have to be fully independent, even if it is you living in the car, you are free! These people will never change. The only thing that you can actually change is yourself. By leaving you can finally heal. You need to release all the pent up trauma from your life. Trauma gets stored in the body and creates disease. Speak to God. Ask God to heal you everyday. God will heal you. You have the choice to either stay in this situation or leave. Don't let your fear drive you. It will only lead you to more heartbreak.

I'm not being divisive but did this Church cancel Good Friday and Easter during the Desolation? I'm trying to find a Church that did not allow the State to enter and remove the Daily Sacrifice.

I’m in an opposite position, my husband is the Jezebel spirit. I think the beginning of our years I carried the Ahab spirit. I stayed thru the 30 years and I believe I’ve been delivered. Still married what to do now 🤷♀️

Good message. Though I was very disappointed when he tells the congregation to pray about how they should drink whiskey... Mark knows not to have people pray to do something which would lead to destruction.

We have to be careful when we talk about submission. What are we submitting to. is this in alignment with Gods word. Saphira also submitted to her husband but she died because of a wrong alignment. We submit to our husbands if what they say is in alignment with the word of God. We need balance .

Great message! Though, I think there may have been a little mixup on “peace maker vs peace keeper” We are called to be peace makers 🙏 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:9

This entire series is amazing. Another of many. Pastor Mark and team what you may or may not realize is through every single series, from James to Genesis to this series, there are men and families out there who are living these hard truths every. single. day. Please please please don't ever stop!!!! You ARE my wise counsel - have been for nearly 10 years - and you've pulled me through more knotholes than you know! Take care and thank you!

Do you know how many lives are destroyed by strong drink? How many families destroyed and when I heard you say you drink and preach that’s when we say (so sad ) Get yourself in a rehab and run from the enemy not play with him. The Bible says in the last days deception will be a big thing to watch out for.

Oh stahhhp. Drunkenness is not the same as having a drink. You didn't complain about eating nachos. Do you know how many lives are destroyed by gluttony and obesity!

@@austinmccollum4168nachos does not have spirit but the drink has. The reason we are not supposed to drink is because we are called to be the priests of God and the priests are not allowed to drink any alcoholic drink, which is another spirit.

Been enjoying the sermon but if I might ask one adjustment...I think your pacemaker and peacekeeper definitions are backwards. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. Making is active. Keeping is inactive. Peacekeepers will quench the spirit to keep the devil from raging. A pacemaker will cut through a mountain to make the path straight. Otherwise I'm taking notes. A family member is a Jezebel and is damaging her children. I need to learn the right way to confront.

What about a jezebel father who is a relative, everyone sees as he is so controlling of his teen daughter, to the point of jumping her boundaries, but thinks others are wrong for confronting him.
