At Burman University we are actively training outdoor professionals to take on roles in outdoor education, guiding and other tourism ventures. Part of becoming professional is to think and prepare like a professional. In this video we will cover the essential equipment that the facilitator of a Led Outdoor Experience should consider carrying.
Part of becoming leader requires us to learn how to do things, to create systems that will help make life in the bush easier or safer for ourselves and our guests. Ropework, the ability efficiently use cordage is essential for the professional outdoorsperson. Over the course your studies in Outdoor Leadership at Burman University, you will master 20-25 different knots, hitches and lashings. More importantly, you will know when to implement each one to maximum benefit.
