@Thor God of Thunder Except all those times he won.. He's a three-time U.S. National Weightlifting Champion (1993, 1994, 1996), an American Open winner (1992), a two-time U.S. Olympic Festival Champion (1993 and 1994) and a NACAC champion (1996). He holds all three Senior US American weightlifting records of 1993-1997. Oh, and in 2002 he dominated the first ever Arnold Strongman Classic. But yeah, I guess you're right. He just wasn't ever very good..

The guy's extremely underrated he broke raw tested powerlifting records at age 18, and had the american national weightlifting records until 1997 and won the 2002 Arnold strongman classic. He also has the highest competition supertotal (powerlifting total + weightlifting total). There's also the fact that he is very outspoken against doping in sports. This along with him competing in drug-tested events and quitting weightlifting due to shitty doping control, means that there could be a chance that he achieved these feats while natural.
@mylanmay

@Sealteamrow 6 regardless, Mark Henry is a complete fucking freak of nature, he squatted 600 lbs when he was 14 goddamn years old. If there's anyone on earth who could've done it natty it's him even if it's not likely
@atrumluminarium
3 жыл бұрын
@Sealteamrow 6 At the age of 18 it would pretty impressive if he had the knowhow to cheat drug tests. Even more impressive that he was able to keep his health in check and see 50 given his weight. When people talk about how easy it is to cheat drug tests, they are mostly referring to olympic athletes whose countries have state-funded doping programmes or individuals rich enough to employ doctors and chemists to monitor them. I doubt an 18 year old has access to those kind of facilities. Personally competing in drug-tested competitions is enough to convince me that he was clean, but I'm not here to change your mind just explaining why I think the way I do

This was great, thanks Jack! Mark H... those press outs were just way too easy. Mateusz is the same. He's just a pressing machine and carries his momentum through the entire lift.
