I miss riding BIG mountains like that. Did alot of it in my early 20's, but now at 40 I feel it alot more then next day that's for sure. One too many hard slams at top speed on my board and even an occasion of me walking up in a Cat Scan strapped down to the table in a hospital after colliding with a skier at full tuck preparing to hit a massive table. I don't remember much from that day at all, just waking up and heading to the mountain with my friends. I remember being on the lift and starting a run, next thing in hospital in massive pain and severely confused.

It's not famous from snowboarders. It's famous from skiers years before any boarders dropped it. I was there when sage cattabriga stomped it. Along with a few others. TGR was out that day to film other skiers, but sage, local dish pit guy at the p-dog, stole the show. It was sick.

Nicholas Sayers not true on both accounts mike mikalechuk (not sure on his last name spelling) used to do double chunk flips in the pipe in the 90s and was docked points because it was hucking not style.

@@rayfinkle5048 tbf that's closer to a backflip than a corkscrew. JP walker was clutch with front cork 5's... and in 2003 landed the first "recorded" double cork. Maybe you remember that time, I dunno.. but I remember the Transworld issue where it made the cover.

Nicholas Sayers bruh shakedown to this day is still one of my favorite movies and yes JP throwing that trick in that movie was insane.
