It's ok sometimes you just have to realize what it is you want to do. If it's rock crawling these are gonna take a little bit more than a lift kit. If you want to go on an adventure where there are a few trails and dirt well they are pretty good at that. Just keep in mind the limitations of the rig and you're gonna have a great time with that Tahoe trust me.

Glad to see the normal side of overlanding. Can’t wait to see more hummer content. It would be nice to see some h2 specific internal parts. Like the infotainment system on that xlr. Great work and great content! Keep it up! (2003 h2 owner)

If you watch one of the other max din videos you may catch a glimpse of my suburban being used to test fit a unit. Trust me Damian is definitely looking into changing both the exterior of the H2 in some way and most certainly has some things in the works for the infotainment as well. These trucks definitely need it.

@@liluncje amen to that. Between the high availability of low cost parts and the stock capabilities of these vehicles I’m surprised he’s the only one to develop stuff like this. That I’m aware of. I’m working on a raised (hopefully water tight) air intake that bolts up the the passenger side. It going to be powder coated steel for the prototype.

got a 2003 trailblazer LT ext "overlanded" out on 35s over the last 2 years, now im working on my second tahoe z71 2002. $4k from the inlaws sitting in their yard for half a decade. gonna do rhino liner roll on black body, white roof, lift/35s, winch, fresh OEMish head lights, tow mirrors, some amber pods front/back, mid grade suspension probably fox and a corvette servo. done. gear might have a tighter fit since a tahoe isnt as long as an EXT but the little extra width should help it break even. essentially the same as this

Sounds like a solid plan, glad to hear you rescued that GMT from the yard.

Sounds good man...Trailblazer SS been on my radar as a builder. Haven't seen too many overlanders though
@KirbyLouis

@@KnightDriveTV the SS isnt the model used for offroading, people just take the Diffs off/for them if they dont have at least a G80 already and/or want 4.10 gears

Love the vid guys! A Vegas local as well, rocking an '05 GMC Yukon Xl 1500. I just recently picked up a roof top tent and am looking into some possible solar setups and lighting. Definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of 3D printed things you can come up with for offroading.

Nice...lots more ahead. 3D printed but also other methods of manufacturing available. I have a lot of partner companies ready to do work, so lots can happen.

Just get the truck and get out and enjoy it. Sounds like its already equipped to go to some places. Get a foam mattress for the back take the seats out and it's ready. Throw in some basic gear and go somewhere. Doesn't have to be anything crazy, just use it. Be safe, have fun, and share this video with someone that likes these trucks as much as we do.

They are Fuel and I believe the name is Vector. My offset is pretty aggressive maybe +33 or something. Damian has fuel rims on his Tahoe as well. We're not running any spacers either. The stance is all offset.

Felt like Bob Barker when he put the mic on the stick and handed it to me lol... Damian has a very funny side that you people only get to see a small portion of. Hopefully we can use the off-road side to have a little more fun once we stop getting stuck all the dang time or breaking stuff out in the desert lol.
