Camped under that ledge myself. Misquotes ate me alive.

Are you for real??? Oh man. We’re planning to go in the next couple of weeks. When did you go?

I saw you in Ouray Co. in September. I was going to tell you I appreciate your videos, but the Mrs. wanted to see a gift shop first. I came out and your Jeep was gone. So thanks for the videos. It helps me prepare my wife for our trips when she gets to see where we are going.

We went in there in 98 and 99. Not a bad trail, but over memorial Day, we ran in a head wind going in. Going out we were in a tail wind and we all over heated. Had to stop every 30 minutes for 20 minutes to cool engines. Had hood propped up with a rolled up sleeping bad for air flow. But still got hot.Was miserable going out. We tried to get into the Rincon and down to the lake but never made it. may do it again in the fall of 2016. Take extra gas and water. Be prepared to be in there for 4 - 5 days.

Where is everybody? Looks like you and your camera person were all alone. Kind of nice not to have to wait in line!

Cool. This is on my list, but I don't know if I'll ever get around to actually doing it. How long did it take you to do the route?

+Shaun Schuster I did bent a stock front dana44 housing in Moab with 35" tires, so now I'm running Dynatrac Prorock44 front housing with RCV axles and stock rear housing with RCV chromoly axles and no issue with 37" tires.

Yes we did it solo. It's a very long and time consuming trail, so plan on camping at least one night there. We spent 3days there and did some exploring of this beautiful area. There was one ledge which took us a couple of tries to get up over it with no bypass but other then that you should be fine if you have some off-roading experience and high clearance 4x4.
