Just bought a 2001 Toyota T100, great 7 inch lift! Good suspension. I'll put some Rock N Roll in my radio , beer in my cooler, lady in the passenger seat. And head to Moab! Been there a few times for hiking trips. Such a beautiful desert, with many cliffs, rocks, canyons, sand and just beauty! It needs more tiretracks..

interesting route avoiding the tippy section, which at one point wasn't something you could bypass. It looks like you followed tracks taking you down to wipe out hill, which at one time was a go down go back up only obstetrical.. that was the hill in min 16-18 of your video... in doing this route you guys made the trail harder... the tippy section isn't all that tippy.... I guess the trail has changed a little since I was on it... I enjoyed the video...

I do enjoy how the XJ kept up with the JKs. XJ's are my passion. What axles do you run on your Cherokee? What kind of lockers? Are you running with short arms? Great video, Moab is great. #TeamXJ

@w9jim

FL RUBI Yes, the tippy section. The bypass is, perhaps, harder (I've not done it), but the tippy section is one of the classic sections of the trial, IMO. And it's not really very tippy at all. I think is something like 17 degrees. You also missed Wipe Out Hill (again by taking the bypass). Any of your rigs can drive down it. My moderately modified Wrangler Sport (front locker, limited slip in the rear) walked back up. You'll just have to go back! :-) Anyway, I enjoyed your video. Can't wait until my next trip to Moab in September.

James Doss They went UP Wipeout Hill when they bypassed the tippy section. Which really isnt all that tippy. I prefer to take the tippy section. The only part of the trail I dont like is the rocky down hill part near the end.

How much $ am I looking at spending on aftermarket parts (lift, 2 diff lockers, shocks, etc) for Wrangler to have a solid truck? I don't want too lifted, but need front and rear diff lockers and 33" (at least) tires. And which exactly model should I go after?

+Humman Off Road Adventures Rough Country lift and 33's is all you need on a Rubicon.
@brendan2386
8 жыл бұрын
Don't get rough country, cheap and horrible quality. You don't need a lift to run 33s they will just not have much room. A 2.5 lift would be perfect, lockers will be around $1000 if you have a shop put them in. A winch and bumper would be important. Probably $1000 for both. The lift would probably be $1000-$2000 for a quality one with all necessary parts. So all in all around $3-4K for the all important parts.
