Thanks for showing the cool rigs at the campground. Great to see real world overlanders alongside the extreme versions.

@@ThriftyOverlander I think the hard top issue hit the 2 doors the hardest. They only came from the factory with hard tops. One of the ones was my blue one at the Peak Suspension booth, and another was the owner of Peak Suspension which was in the radflo suspension booth. But you're right, most were 4 door broncos at the show.

Just came across your channel, love the name. Unfortunately there's nothing thrifty about overlanding anymore. There's a lot of fabricators trying to get rich very fast. The price points on everything inside the expo are ridiculously overpriced! The real overlanders are the guys like you in campground with very capable and minimalist setups. Good video, keep up the good work.

I used to have a saying about the stuff at Expo and that is "everythings a grand" Now even that is a little low. Its a great place to get ideas though.

I can't help but laugh when ever I see a rooftop tent. Oh and gas tanks that are used 1-2 days a year but remain on the vehicle year around.

Yeah, alot of this stuff is cool, but a truck, tent, recovery gear, and sleeping bag is all you really need.
