K5 Blazer can run rings around any 4X4 4 wheeling today especially that Chevy Tahoe. K Blazer was also used in the military as the M-1. Great truck, I've owned a few.

Definitely is a great truck. Newer rigs have technology that help a ton, there were things the Tahoe did that Blazer couldn’t do. There are also many moments where my rig out performed the Tahoe.

Great vid brother! I was a late 70's early 80's kid... part of my life being spent in North Tennessee & Kentucky... our dads had K5's, 79 Broncos Dodge power wagons... We would tear it up on Ft Campbell Kentucky Army range in rutted out M1 Abrams roads, swamps, hollars, creek beds, woods...those trucks were monsters way back then & still are.

Wow, this is so neat! I have had so much fun with mine. It was given to me by my dad and I fixed it up with him and my grandpa. I have tons of plans for it and will keep it in my family! They are fading gems, I’m so thankful to have one. Cheers 🤙🏻

I removed the back seat in my 79 K5. Built my own "bunk" above the bed, & built pull out supply drawers underneath. The truck is fully capable with 1 ton axles, a front diff locker, & hydro assist steering for the 38" swampers underneath. GOOD TIMES!

That Blazer should be leading the caravan not following. And remember, your Blazer is so much more capable than most that it'll allow you to go further into the backcountry before getting STUCK.😋

I don’t see why you cant. The K5 Blazer was a military vehicle and fire rangers used them.

@@kyles.garage No it's pretty tight but the horn doesn't work and the horn button flops around haha. It's so small. It feels so weird having a smaller steering wheel in this beast than in my CRX, delSol or Wrangler.

With my love of square bodies as well as owning one, I went into this thinking there was going to be some dialogue included. Two take-aways though, the music today sucks and your wife/girlfriend has a cute giggle.
