You definitely picked some epic view spots and quite the nice drive to get to them too.

Campsites with views like those (and no one else around for miles) is probably 50% of why I love this glorified car camping we call 'overlanding'!

@@maxdexpeditions can't hate on that! There's something about soups and stews around a campfire that just .... works.

Just recently got into overlanding and the wife and I have been really enjoying your vids! The music, amazing FOOD, and clear explanations make it all super approachable. Well done to you both! I just picked up a stock 100 series ('02 LC) and am taking it to Moab here soon. Planning on doing Long Canyon and Shafer Trail as our intro rides, and perhaps Onion Creek if time / conditions allow. Newbie question: looks like you aired down for these trails? What psi? Thanks and looking forward to more videos from you.

Thanks so much for the kind words! Glad to hear you're enjoying the videos. Congrats on the 100, they are INCREDIBLE trucks. Moab is incredible, and all the trails you mentioned would be great options to get your feet wet. For us (on 33" BFG K02's) we will usually air down to about 25 PSI for gravel / dirt roads to help with ride comfort. For really rough, rocky roads, we'll go down to 20. Your mileage may vary, but those pressures work well for us

The view from long canyon overlooking behind the rocks and the La sal mountains are one of my favorites. If you zoom in on the rock formation called the old folks home from long canyon it looks like a Buffalo laying in front of the mountains. Nice video.Thanks.

Long Canyon was beautiful (especially that viewpoint). Next time we're on that trail, we'll look for the Buffalo!

You think a stock Jeep Wrangler would be fine on Long Canyon Road? Also, the dynamic range on your drone footage looks fantastic. Which drone are you flying with?

Definitely! A stock Wrangler will make short work of Long Canyond Road. We use a DJI Mini 2 Pro. Works really well considering how compact it is. I find that doing some light color grading in post can help quite a bit too

Awesome video thanks for sharing! I'm headed out to Moab in October and would love to know the name of the lesser known trail you took and camped off of. That view is priceless. If you don't want to share via comment, I sent you a message on Instagram.
