Thanks for that, though the detailed options have changed by qgis 3.12 in 2020, and the OpenLayers plugin is not available, though I found the QuickMapServices one did the same thing

Hi sir, thanks for this clear and concise tutorial. The issue I ran into is after overlaying, only the coordinates show up but not the image itself. Could you point me out why? :)

sir, instead of deselecting the historic map, can we turn historic map from Opaque to transparency so that we can see both map at same time .

coordinate reference system selector does not pop up for me where can I get it?

Maybe in the video you chose .PNG file, and I used .JPG file. Is this the reason why my final overlaying image does not show up? Only cooridinates showed, and I checked the transparency it's 0.0
