Keeping with traditions of dry wood/open flame smoking meats, actually. This is the bbq way. I have a 400 lbs. smoker I made with iron, angle grinder, and a welder. I did it because it creates a better relationship with the finished product. "Set and forget" isn't the way and it's going to ruin this culture. Cut the cord is a thing in the bbq world, fyi.

@@S_M_360that's why I refuse to carry a firearm when I hunt. Even a bow and arrow is too advanced for me. Carrying a large stick connects me to nature. People hunting with projectiles is going to ruin this generation.

@@S_M_360you sound like a tool. Don't worry about what others are using. I have an offset, and a pellet grill. I use the pellet grill every weekend because I'm too busy to sit and babysit a fire box all day.
