Thank you for always creating fun videos for us. Enjoy watching them always. Which video editting app do you use?

I just use iMovie I don’t pay for anything for the editing!!!! I would really like to upgrade to Final Cut Pro but unfortunately I just can’t afford it on my tiny budget. But hopefully if I’m very lucky and my channel grows enough I might change over. 🥰

What??? No Irish Pub?
@nanwithabackpack

Not this time, I did pop in and have fish and chips once but didn’t video anything. The lovely Irish band no longer play there as they have returned to Ireland 🇮🇪 my friends that I met there last year were away working in Bangkok. It really was a very quiet visit just for me to recharge my batteries. Unfortunately as you will see in the next video I ended up needing more rest and recovery ❤️🩹 than expected!!!

How much for the train? How long is the journey? Did you consider the 40 minute flight? ✈️ Not that expensive. Best area to stay? Need to book CM but have RT for 12-3-24 to Bangkok. ✌️

I booked the number 9 train on the app 12goAsia it was £22.47 the train leaves 6.40pm and arrives at 7.15am but normally arrives slightly earlier than that. I enjoy the train and it saves me a nights accommodation. There is also a daytime train or a bus I believe.

I spotted Sam again in one of your videos ! ... Did you get to see Nathan as well ? ... I know he was keen to do as much as possible on his own on the trip though and mainly just did the travelling with her ... They were both pretty 'tired & emotional' when I picked them up from Heathrow at the end 😉

I know that street where the BB House is. I stayed in Paapu House this year, on the other side of the moat, really nearby. I had a single room with shared bathroom and it was so cute. Their breakfasts are amazing and Paapu is lovely. Worth trying if you need somewhere another time.

Directions for the train station, toilet tour, it's not been 3rd world for a long time? rather see the food you eat Nan.

Sorry you did not enjoy the video, my grandchildren really love watching their nan travel enjoying herself. I definitely did not say anything about 3rd world!!! I have had lots of messages from people wanting to take the train but were unsure about it who are now going to book instead of flying. I am so glad I could help them. Maybe you would prefer another channel, one that specializes in food? Gary Butler - The Roaming cook would be a good channel for you. Also Paddy Doyle has just done a great video about restaurants in Bangkok. 😁

@@nanwithabackpack Don't be sorry Nan, you're doing your thing and it's great to see. Makes me realise how good a decision it was to travel when young and not suffer with the occasional hardship. Can't eat flights and train hardships and can only watch so many Nan, 20 yrs ago the food car was some of the best food on the go and we met the people on the way, which it seems no creator wants to cover, I don't know why? You enjoy your roast dinners nothing wrong with that Nan, I'm sure it will be the first food your Grandchildren look for if they ever get to travel there, bit like Benidorm X 🧐🤔

I really enjoyed my Sunday roast dinner at Annie’s. I have been away from home for 6 months and it was wonderful to have a little taste from home. Before I started my trip I had not eaten rice in years (probably because I can’t make it without it sticking to the pot) now I have it almost every day!!! Boy you can definitely get tired of rice. I do have a few clips of very strange foods I have tried coming up, but my family friends and a lot of my subscribers want to see how I travel, from place to place what I’m doing and how I’m getting along. I used to have a hairdressing salon and a lot of my clients who can no longer travel follow me. They have told me they are traveling through me and my adventures. You are so very lucky if you did not suffer with the occasional hardship, when you were traveling. I found you can sometimes find difficulties weather you are home or away, or maybe that's just me!!! lol I’m so blessed to have such amazing supportive friends around me. Hope you enjoy your next journey and manage to try lots of different tastes along the way.
