I went with the updated version. Some models have them and some don't. Used to have that same switch and went through two. Bought a newer style and haven't had a problem. It's more compact and has better switches.

Do you have a link to the newer style?

That’s a big design failure for an off-road switch. I’m glad you found a reasonable option though. I guess if others have this and it hasn’t failed yet, and you too, put some dielectric grease in there to keep some of that water out.

I was thinking that too. Only problem is they cannot be opened without damage. Do you know if there is a spray form of dielectric lube?

@@BlueDawnEnduro I bet it exists somewhere, not sure on a brand. Maybe a syringe with a long tube. Just spit ballin, good luck!

Did you try contacting Dan at TNM for a replacement switch? I belive they have a life time warranty on their installed parts for original owners.

Yes, no reply. BTW, as a general policy, I don't think they could lifetime warrant everything - taillights and mirrors for example.

Hi Ron, I stand corrected. The lifetime warranty is good for their in-house TNM switches to the original owner. Strange you didn't get a response?

Have the same kit on my bike. It came with the bike as I bought it used. The kill switch is kind of bipolar. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. My horn doesn't work at all. No matter when I press the button, it doesn't beep. Any suggestions? I noticed you got yours to work. I've checked the wiring; everything seems to be plugged in correctly.

Replace that top switch with the one on Amazon. Could be your horn button broke
