I have vx9 AW as a spare side arm. Along with ICS XFG for friends. Main side TM Glock metal slide maple leaf hop 6.01mm barrel. Use nuprol green gas 2.0 Stealth Tactical Elite 0.25g BBs This gun design is used by agency arms aswell. The slide is reworked for agency arms logo if you look at the finer details good bits of kit.

Does it have any sort of safety? Or is it just a trigger safety? Can you lock the slide back without fully emptying the mag? I know that this comment was 6 mounths ago lol but hey worth a shot.

No safety, works like a Glock. Mag must be empty for slide to lock back.

Basically any glock mag will still allow you to discharge the weapon if you just won't be as efficient until you replace the rubber.

Hey, I have a question regarding the cycling of the Slide. My Vx9310 just arrived and quickly realized that it got completely stuck once I racked the slide. The issue seemed to be the trigger bar getting caught on the BBU. The only way to realease the slide was from inside the chamber. I had to puch the trigger bar down in order for it to release. Do you have the same problem? Wondering if its a design flaw with the new bbu's or if it's just my replica that's not working properly out of the box.

is it true that the mags are proprietary? i went around airsoft retail sites and they mentioned these as "for AW/WE/TM" g series pistols.
@Stealth639

The AW mags for the the optics ready VX7 and VF9 use a proprietary gas route rubber specifically designed to work with the new nozzle design used in the optics ready slides. Apart from that the mags are otherwise standard AW/WE Glock mags. At least here in HK it's easy to buy the mags for the AW VX7 and VX9 optics ready pistols and easy to buy the mag rubber if your want to retrofit it to existing TM/AW/WE Glock mags. Mags without the specific mag rubber will not work well in the VX7 and VF9 optics ready pistols. I'll do a separate video on this in a day or two.

Nice video and I just got mine yesterday. However mine is more in the low side vs other Glocks, only read avg. 255fps (0.25g BB) using Green Gas at ambient temp. 26⁰ C. Yours is higher by 20 -25 fps using heavier 0.28 BB. Is it a lemon or just normal? What do you think? Thanks.
@ArmorerWorks

Its normal because the Blowback nozzle is smaller to make way for the real cut optics slide plates , however that also means the gun is VERY gas efficient , if you look at our own review video it can do 3 and a half mag before the gas in the mag runs out

200 lumens, low output? The surefire 6P was 60 lumens and the go to light for years. Unless in actual combat where you may want to blind someone 200 lumens is more than enough.

How durable do you think this will be? Marui level or more like WE-tech level?

@@rurushu8094 Never owned a we tech before, heard a lot of people complaining how they break so easily. Are they really that bad?
@Stealth639

Yes, AW is OEM'd by WE but with generally better QC.And in recent years WE has improved a lot. I've owned a few AW pistols and never had any problem with them. If something does break, replacement parts are easy to get here in HK. And at a price of sightly less than US$90, if the pistol does have a catastrophic failure, it's cheap enough to replace

@@crewgadjy Kinda condescending tone imo. I'm just wondering because my Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 for example doesn't have the ability to switch frames with a gen 3. So I was wondering if the frames for an AW were compatible with the rest or not due to some limitation. Such as: magazine, magazine release, hopup adjustment or something else. I hope you're trying to be helpful considering I'm not knowledgeable about much to do with airsoft glocks in anyway whatsoever and I thank you for your advice about the compatibility on the glock components. But please don't word it in a way that seems like you are blatantly mocking me for not knowing the names of each part. If you read this, thank you for your time and consideration.
