I got 30 days in jail for non payment of the fines I owed. I met a young Muslim while there. "A salaam aleikum". He asked me how many times I watched Malcom X. "The Quran says we are neighbors in this community. I have greeted you in peace.". I had some interesting discussions about the Quran with some older Muslims. They were curious why a long haired blue eyes devil would read the read the word of Allah. I have family who are Muslim. Their father is Algerian and were raised in the faith of their father. I read the Quran to understand them and their beliefs. They are still family. A young man thought he had the right to abuse me. I went out to the yard and asked the Sheik if I could have a moment of his time. I told him about the situation between myself and the young man. Point him out. He's in our buildings common area. The Sheik and I talked on the way over. I didn't want to hurt the kid but I couldn't allow him to think there no consequences to bad behavior. He understood. They had a short discussion. In front of the people in the common area the Sheik shook my hand. I realized imeadiately the respect I was being shown. My roommate was impressed. His big tattoo was White Irish Power. You got some brass ones man.

I saw a movie about the life of the Prophet Muhammed (blessings upon him). The movie was done with no one portraying him. Anyone speaking to the Prophet looked into the camera. No voice was given to him but the actors worked as if being spoken to. Anthony Quinn played Hamza, the Prophets Uncle. When some Muslims fled persecution,They went to Ethiopia. Others arrived,Contending the first group were escaped slaves and demanding their return. After discussion with both groups,The King made his ruling. Using his staff,He drew a line in the dirt. This is the difference between Christianity and Islam. The Quran says Jesus is someone who's teachings are worthy of consideration. That his mother Mary is special in the eyes of Allah. How will you know Judgement Day is coming?. Jesus will appear in Damascus,Driving out the swineherds.I was raised LDS. We have alot in common with Islam. We have a Prophet who founded our faith. No alcohol, gambling. We had polygamy. Wound up living in the desert. Jesus said "Love,One another;as I have loved you". The Quran says to share your blessings with others,That you will be blessed even more.

@@brianlevine4802 I am very happy,, to have you open minded, hearing from the other side. Usually white people, are offensive when islam is brought up. Islam gave equality 1400 years ago to men, women, whether they are white or black. Even in war times, there are conditions and rules. No betrayals, betrayal considered to be unfaithful and God refuses such actions and it counts as a sin. Islam is a way of life. Take people with kindness. 👍

@@raulgonzales8719 I have a cousin who got to go to the Sorbonne in 1970. She is tall, blond, buxom and of Swedish ancestry. She met an Algerian Muslim there. He said that he wanted marry her. "Tell your mother that. See what happens".She came back and finished her degree. He followed his heart. They got married and lived in France. They raised their children in the faith of their father. She keeps her home halal. When ever they came to visit food was prepared for them that was halal. We Swedes love pork, alcohol,etc.. but family is family. My cousin's son is a blond, blue eyed Muslim. His sisters got the cinnamon skin, dark hair and eyes. When they moved to the US they bought a house down the street from my stepbrother. I told my nephews to look after my girl cousins. I grew up in that town too. They can get really stupid real quick. One of my nephews asked if they were really related to me. Why do you ask?. Because they are gorgeous!. I read the Quran so that I could understand my cousins better. The example of my cousin's husband living his faith also influenced me. He treats her like she is a queen. She treats him like he is a king. My Mom and stepfather went to Israel in the mid '80's. They went driving around seeing where Yeshuah preached. They came to a military checkpoint. It was recommended they go a different route. My Mom said I want to go where Yeshuah preached. I'm going going this way. The car they rented broke down in a small town. The people in the nearest house welcomed them. The young men will fix your car, inshallah. While there some people came by who wanted my parents to leave with them. They were told that they were guests under that families protection. They spent a pleasant afternoon talking about family ,work,etc..."When you go back to America, Tell them what happened to you. We are not presented well there". They got their guns and escorted my parents to the next town. I know Christians who do not live by His words. I know we can all find the bad examples in our faiths. As we walk through this world why not help one another along the way?.

Well, in a sense, he did. Adebesi's violent soul bled, literally bled into Said after he killed him in self defense. Like another person wrote, Said had a long fuse but at the point when he killed Adebesi, it had dwindled down significantly. I mean, it didn't go off when he killed him, but Adebesi sure burnt a long piece of it out, which is why Adebesi became apart of him. It's here where the bomb finally went off and the Adebesi in him came out. EDIT: I do realize how pretentious this sounds...but at first it really did sound good in my head lol. I believe that whatever happens in prison , a person should not be accountable for acts of violence, except acts against guards. Because the state is responsible for preventing Axcts of violence and Protecting prisoners from acts of violence. Beecher was innocent or acted in self defense in both cases. Shitting on his face and biting that other guys dick off. Because no sane person would commit wither act. But one can argue, all prisoners deserve whatever they get in prison. Not true, because the vast MAJORITY of prisoners today are Non Violent, Drug addicts thzat were selling to support an addiction. Not to buy a yacht or for street cred. I was arrested for Not paying parking tickets, Lol. Im njot exxagerating. in NYC, you will be arreseted for non payement of parking tickets or fines. If you fail to pay a civil penalty. A Bench warrant is automatically isued for your arrest. I was stopped during a random DUI checkpoint in Queens during Halloween holiday in 2015. I asked those in the Bullpen, who were in for Drug possesion,m almost everyonre was. ' You can only arrest a dealer once, but an addict can be arrsted almost Everyday..
