1) A fence or the wall of a post building (like a barn) is basically a giant sail and high winds will try to push over your construction project. A post set in concrete increases the surface area in contact with the ground, thereby increasing resistance to lateral forces. 2) The post in concrete has a much larger base footprint and will resist settling especially if there is a a good deal of weight on it, such as trusses on a pole barn. 3) the post in concrete should typically have 1/3 its length in the ground which increases its stability. The Oz-Post appears to be faster, simpler, and cheaper. However, anything worth doing is worth doing right the first time.

The Oz post man should also include the laying out of the long extension cord for the power. Or setting -up a generator if the fence is at off-site. :-)
