Murmure (लाई) - 2 Cup
Water (पानी) - Some
Oil (तेल) - 2 Tbsp
Fennel Seeds (सौंफ) - 1/2 Tbsp
Cumin Seeds (जीरा) - 1/2 Tbsp
Mustard Seeds (राई) - 1/4 Tbsp
Asafoetida/Hing Powder (हींग पाउडर) - 1 Pinch
Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) - Finely Chopped
Curry Leaves (करी पत्ते) - Some
Onion (प्याज) - 1 Cup
Green Peas (मटर) - Some
Boiled Potato (उबले आलू) - 1
Oil (तेल) - Some
Peanut (मूंगफली) - Some
Salt (नमक) - As per taste
Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) - Some
Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च) - 1 Pinch
Sugar (चीनी) - 1 Spoon
Lemon Juice (नींबू का रस) - As per taste
Coriander Leaves(धनिया पत्ती) - For garnishing
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐚
Left Over Rice (बचे हुए चावल) - 1 Bowl
Onion (प्याज) - 1
Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) - 2
Coriander Leaves (धनिए के पत्ते) - Some
Curry Leaves (करी पत्ते) - Some
Gram Flour (बेसन) - 1 Bowl
Curd (दही) - 1/2 Bowl
Salt (नमक) - As Per Taste
Crushed Red Chili Powder (कुटी हुई लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1 Tsp
Kashmiri Red Chili Powder (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) - 1 Tsp
Chili Flakes (चिली फ्लेक्स) - Some
Carom Seeds (अजवाइन) - Some
Sugar (चीनी) - Some
Oil (तेल) - Some
✍🏻RECIPE:
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐡𝐚, wash Puffed Rice/Kheel/Murmure and drain the water quickly. Heat a pan, add Oil, Cumin Seeds, Fennel Seeds, Mustard Seeds, Hing, Green Chilli, and Curry Leaves, and let them crackle first. Then add Onion, Peas, boiled Potato, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Sugar, Lemon Juice, and Kheel. Mix well and garnish with Coriander Leaves and roasted Peanuts. Serve hot with Onion, Green Chili, Sev, and Peanuts and Enjoy!
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐚, in a bowl, add cooked Rice, Onion, Coriander Leaves, Green Chilli, Curry leaves, Curd, Gram Flour, Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Chili Flakes, Carom Seeds, and Sugar. Mix well and make a fine batter by using Water. Heat a tawa, grease Oil, and spoon batter on it. Roast well from both sides. Serve with Chutney and Sauce and Enjoy!
