Ingredients
Rava kesari
Rava - 1cup
sugar - 2.5 cup.
ghee 3/4 to 1cup
Water 2Cups
milk with saffron 1 cup
cashew nuts - 20grams
cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
method
1. add 1/4 cup of ghee and fry rava to golden brown. if you are buying roasted rava then also you should roast in ghee to golden brown .
2. add in hot boiling water in batches and cook the rava. once it absorbs all the water add in the milk and mix well.
3. the consistency is that the rava must be cooked from outside and must be crisp inside.
4. now add in the sugar and make it lumpfree.
5. cook the mixture until it reaches Dosa batter consistency.
6. add in the rest of the ghee and add in cardamom powder and roasted cashews into it!
7. Rest for a while and your drooling kesari is ready to serve..
