Dahibara Recipe ( Odia ) | Dahi Vada Recipe : Dahi Vada or Dahi Bara ( Odia ) is a soft , juicy and flavourful healthy food available in all over India. Here I have shown typical South Indian style Dahi Vada . After frying the crispy urad dal vadas are soaked in hot water. Then garnish with sweet curd, chilli powder . Which looks very beautiful and tastes great to consume in breakfast and Snacks . This soft and juicy Dahi Vada ( Dahi Bara ) can also be prepared on Vrat days, for any festival, occasions etc. So , do try this flavourful healthy and soft dahi vada at home . Enjoy :)
Ingredients :
1. Black / White Gram ( Urad Dal ) - 150gm
2. Fresh Curd - 500gm
3. Grated Ginger - 2 inch
4. Fresh Curry leaves
5. Fresh Coriander leaves
6. Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
7. Urad Dal - 1 tbsp ( or take 1 tbsp bengal gram / chana dal )
8. Dry Red Chilli - 3 nos. ( or as required )
9. Chopped Green Chilli - 3 nos. ( or as required )
10. Dry chopped Coconut - 1 tbsp
11. Asafoetida ( Hing / Hengu )
12. Black pepper Powder - 1 tbsp
13. Sugar - 2 tbsp ( or as per taste )
14. Salt to taste
15. Oil to fry .
