Well, now that was certainly an athletic performance. A lyrical footrace for violins and strings. Still trying to figure out who won.

Such emotional performance!!! But, on my opinion, the tempo is too fast... Yes, it’s a virtuoso piece, but the middle of the piece it looked like it’s hard to play for you in such tempo. That’s all from me. You really play very good, you both have PERRRRRRRFECT technique, ant natural feelings, it looks amazing!!!

I think 0.75 is a good practice tempo, but it’s not my preferred performance tempo. Somewhere in between 0.75 and the tempo they took in the video is what I’d prefer.

It’s not too fast Jesus fucking Christ, but there are parts where they rush unnecessarily... and the girl was staring a little too creepily... other than that not bad

Even for a soloist, that guy is making the most ridiculous faces ever.

JakeTheGearHeart I don’t know if you realized, but this is a music concert. You should focus on the music instead of inconsequential things like the soloists’ faces. Next time you find yourself wanting to make a comment like this one, ask yourself: “If I was blind, would I be making this comment?” If the answer is no, then you’ll know that you’ve focused on the wrong things. Just a thought.

@@jonathanvasquez8598 Hey, I'm simply pointing out a fact. I don't care if he makes ridiculous faces, it doesn't take away from the performance, it's just... ridiculous.

JakeTheGearHeart I disagree for a simple reason. You are not pointing out a fact; you are pointing out your opinion. So perhaps amend your statements or continue to get criticism on your words.

@@jonathanvasquez8598 It is a fact. A "normal" face is a face that is relaxed. Many soloists (such as Joshua Bell, Itzhak Perlman, etc.) show _expression_ on their faces while playing, but this player is making faces a lot more exaggerated than most other soloists. He _is_ making more exaggerated faces than most soloists so my comment is factual.

JakeTheGearHeart you’re absolutely wrong. Your statement is an opinion because you added your take on the soloist’s face; you called it ridiculous. That is something that is not objectively measurable. Whereas you may think that this soloist’s faces are ridiculous, I and others do not think so. Therefore, your statement is not factual; please don’t be so arrogant as to not see how your particular opinion isn’t a hard fact. Furthermore, you say that this young man is making faces that are more exaggerated than those of Joshua Bell and Itzhak Perlman; again, that is your opinion and can not be objectively measured. You also said that he is making more exaggerated faces than those of most soloists; where is your proof to back this claim up? You may say whatever you want as opinion, but the moment that you claim to state a fact, you have a burden of proof. How could you possibly prove that most other soloists don’t make faces more exaggerated than his without doing a comprehensive analysis of all soloists? You can’t, and it would be ridiculous to even try. This last statement is my opinion. To conclude though, you’ve just managed to dig yourself a deeper hole by stating two more opinions that you hold.
